Over the course of the last four or five years, I've heard from three or four unrelated sources about this "doctor" who comes to Paragould from time to time.

Some people jokingly call him a "witch doctor"; I think he's really just into some kind of holistic or alternative medicine.

I don't really believe in that stuff. But these three or four unrelated people all say that he has an unexplainable knack for knowing what's wrong with you before you're even done explaining your symptoms.

For example: A friend's baby was quite sick, so they took him to this guy. They explained some of the baby's digestive symptoms. The doctor then asked them if the baby had a very specific physical trait. The stunned parents told him "Yes!" He was absolutely spot-on. And he could not have known from looking at the completely clothed baby in front of him.(No jokes, please.)

He told them what was wrong with the baby, they did what he told them to do, and the baby's been fine ever since.

Every story I hear about this guy is just like this. My curiosity has finally gotten the best of me.

So, finally, my question: What is this doctor's name, what's his deal, where does he work, and when is he in Paragould?

His name is Barry and he is wonderful. He is Church of Christ and not a witch doctor. He has just been given a gift. He used to own Country Naturals but has sold it. He comes up once a month to do consultations. YOu can go in the store and fill out a form they have there and he will tell you what is wrong and what to do about it.

Barry lives up by Higdon Ar. He has a store up there. I think the little town is Rosemond (not sure). He is in Paragould every 3rd Saturday at Country Naturals. He said one time he can look into your heart and tell what is wrong. I only know he has a wonderful gift from God.

My best friend went to him because she had suffered with plantar fascitis for about 3 months. He gave her a recipe for a horrible tasting drink that she was suppose to take twice a day. Within 5 days she had stopped wearing tennis shoes and was back in heels.

He also warned her aunt of a suspicious spot in her breast. He never touched her but he was correct about the spot.

Some use the talents God gave them in a good way. Does he charge to tell you what is wrong?
