Come back when you want to have a serious discussion.
What you smell is your ass being handed to you. I used your numbers that you posted and proved the "rich" pay a hell of a lot more tax dollars in a year than you will in 30 years. Now you want to refute the numbers you posted. Agitation in Liberal talk means you're getting your ass kicked.

Fair taxes.. that's what every one wants! So and so pays less than his secretary.. hows this for fair. Nearly half of all tax payers paid ZERO/ 0% federal income tax. But that's fair huh??

That is the spirit, claim victory. We just have to take your word for it..lol. So you know how much I make per year now,,interesting..lol.

The article I posted has an author, follow the link and ask them your question. I'm sure they have dealt with right wingers in denial mode like yourself on more than one occasion.

Your not the Memphis guest, that is the troll. That troll has not proved a thing except he can run his mouth and not back up a word that comes out of it. Plenty of proof has been given to back up my post.

How many of the 50 percent that don't pay income taxes are living on Social Security?

That's a very good question.. pretty sure its no close to 50%.. but I believe if you're on ss and have no other income you don't file a tax return.. I know lots of people who get 6,000 tax refund checks who didn't pay in anywhere close to that.. those are the ones im referring to.

The max anyone, single or married, can get back with EIC is $5,751 and that is for 3 kids. Having more than 3 kids doesn't help you with EIC.

We could say they are just following the tax code and not breaking any laws. That is a favorite excuse right wingers give for the rich and big corporations.

Sure there are a lot of loopholes that need to be closed. When Obama talked about it before you would have thought the world was ending from the rhetoric coming from the talking heads. Now why are you guys upset about it now? Which side of the discussion are you on exactly?..lol.

If its your only income you don't have to pay income taxes on it. From what I've read, most folks do file income taxes even though they don't have to pay in just to be on the safe side. If your married and each of you have SS for income then I suspect you do file your income taxes since you have 2 sources of income. Maybe Boatie the great tax preparer will tell us more?..lol.

So the answer is still up in the air on your question. Could be a great deal of folks filing that are on SS.

I take it that you didn't know Social Security was actually taxable.

I'm not the least bit surprised. Not even a single iota.

For that vast majority it ISN'T taxable. Only if you make over a certain amount.

I wouldn't say a vast majority. I would probably say a modest majority. But I'm guessing. Which is exactly what you are doing.

Actually, unless it has changed in the last couple years, only 2 kids can be used on EIC. The more kids you have the more tax breaks you get but only the first two kids are worth the big bucks.

I know several people who made around 18,000 this past year and got back well over 8 grand on their return.

2 couples had 2.

1 couple had 3.

1 couple had 4.

The one who got the most back was a single mother of 2.
