I paid $60 for an eye exam at Walmart a couple of years ago but that was cheap I thought. With my glasses it was close to $300 but I get tri- focals and they cost more.

You really haven't purchased eye glasses in a while have you?

Add the tinting, glare protection, anti-scratch, and it exceeds that easily.

No telling how many adults and children need glasses and can't afford them....sad. I am blessed, and need to give thanks everyday.

I would recommend buying your eyeglasses online I got an eye exam in Jonesboro for 100 dollars and I wanted to bother glasses online since the glasses there were over 200 dollars. so I ask them to give me the prescription so I could order them online and they gave it to me but they didn't include the pupil distance which is the distance between the berry centers of your eyes so I looked it up and it's very easy measurement to take. you can do it yourself with a ruler or have someone help youthis allowed me to buy eyeglasses online for around 12 dollars with the standard lenses but I added the scratch resistant an anti reflective coating for a pink 14 dollars so the total ended up being less than a 30 dollars with the Sun Shades clip on so if you google it you'll find several online eyeglass retailers I took about 2 weeks to get the glasses but they were spot onI typed this on my phone using voice to text so if it sounds a little crazy I apologize good luck please don't give into the eyeglass Camden most of the eyeglass stores have going you're going to pay 5 to 10 * more than you will OnLive did you end up with the exact same products. I should also add then I called a couple doctors uh aiight I doctor places in Paragould to ask about the pupil distance and they said they would do it for me for free I can't remember off hand who they are but cold to make sure that they will include the pupil distance so that you can up get the glasses online and don't have to take that measurement yourself the place is it won't give you the pupil distance or total scam in there just trying to sell your glasses so I wouldn't even give them my money for the eye exam the place I went to was hilltop I clinic in Jonesboro and I would not recommend them to anyone they were very rude and tried to charge me more for the people distance please beware of them

11 months ago is when I purchased my last pair of glasses. I take care of my investments, so I didn't buy the anti-scratch which doesn't even live up to it's claims to begin with. Nor did I allow myself to be swayed into purchasing the other (expensive) add-ons you mentioned. Got glare, turn your head. Sun bothering you, snap on sunglasses can be had for 1 buck. The glasses themselves are what you NEED,these are things are not.

I used to go to Dr Ron many years ago and felt he gave a very though exam. How are his prices? I'd like to try him again if not too much. Back then I had insurance but don't now so must economize.

Thanks for this info. Does anyone know if the Lions Club helps? I think they used to help especially with getting children glasses.
