Black River Technical college offers an Associate Degree in Registered Nursing - 2 year RN. Yes BSN is a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Better pay for BSN

You really dont want to be a two year RN, they are looked at as a " Lesser " nurse and I am not implying they are but behind the scenes yes the BSN nurse always have looked down on the ASN as the underacheiver who couldnt go the distance. Pay there is difference but mostly it is the promotions available to the BSN that are not there for the ASN, everyone knows that.

It depends on the school you go to as to whether or not you will move forward. I went to a very reputable school with extremely difficult requirements and excessive clinical requirements. Upon graduation we were all snapped up ahead of the BSN students who went to ASU. If you have any doubt just look up the pass rate for state boards. BSN students have a LOWER pass rate than ADN. So I guess the ADN's are getting a better education.

Call AMMC and talk to someone about a job instead of posting on this website?? duh..even a ASN "lesser nurse" gets that!

I would really like to know about the hospitals nurses. I am not really interested in working at a nursing home really.

LPN's are the ones that are really looked down up on. LPN's that go on and get their RN often forget they were once LPN's.
AMMC does not want you talking about your pay. Guess they are afraid you will find out they hire nurses for more than they pay their current hands.
just my two cents.

wow making $15.00 at a Dr's office sounds really good. I was an office LPN for several offices and the highest pay was $12.00 I guess I applied at the wrong office. lol.
