Agreed, I think people are nuts to take kids to neighborhoods and people they don't know these days.

I went trick or treating when I was a kid all over neighborhoods, and I never had a problem. For the last 20 years, I have taken my kids to other neighborhoods to trick or teat and we've never had a problem. In fact, I've never personally met anyone who received drugs, razorblades or anything nasty or harmful. One year though, one of my nephews got a box of Nerds from Carriage Hills that had no candy, but a note inside that read, "Ticks, no Treats" lol. Maybe they thought he was too old to be trick or treating. He looks big for his age, but he was only nine.

I don't blame the people for doing that. I had adults and teenage kids last year at my house. Gawd, I can't believe it's that time of year again, I may do as most of my neighbors did last year and leave for the evening. Some of you yo-yo's hit every sub-division in town.

Yes, it's probably best that you leave for the evening. I would hate for a sour-puss like you to be put out for the kids or spoil some poor kidís fun. Iím sure Halloween will be more enjoyable celebrated without you.

Yes, and my evening would be better with leeches who think the purpose of Halloween is to gather 30 lbs of candy they'll devour.

Really, how many pedophiles lived in PG back then? Have you seen the numbers on the website for this town, scary but if you're crazy enough to take kids out into that enviornment..........

LOL are you serious? To begin with I don't let my kids out of my sight when we go. I go with them. I don't think someone is going to grab them from me and molest them Hahahahahahaha!

I suppose that we shouldn't let our kids do anything...especially by themselves. No, it's best to raise them to be paranoid and fearful of everyone and everything. Let them stay inside where they can play video games the entire time they are growing up. What wonderful memories they will have of growing up!

If you read what I originally responded to in this post, I said to take them to houses where you knew the people and not all over town.

Sure raise them to trust everyone, I'm sure that will work out well in their life.

Better to raise them to have common sense. Enough said.

LOL! Nice try bozo, I spent over $100 last year on candy. Don't plan on doing it this year, because I don't want to hand candy out to 300 kids that I don't know.

I realize you probably give out Sonic peppermints since you're the type to go all over town begging.

You dense fool--you're the one belly aching about having to give out candy to kids you don't know. If anyone is a cheapskate on here it would be you.$100.00? Nope, I think you are a liar as well as a dense fool.

Really, do you know what I spend? In my subdivision $100 worth of candy would be gone in an hour because we're hit by people from all over town? You're just another blood sucking leech who thinks the world owes them something because they exist.

I'm doing what most of my neighbors have started doing on Halloween, going to a movie or out to eat, because frankly getting bombarded with kids from 5:00 pm to 10:00 and having them ring your door bell after you've turned out the lights and come back 3-4 times for more candy has ceased to be fun for us. You're the fool if you thing those of us who are hit like that enjoy it. Maybe a few do, but most of us don't.
