There's two Lilly's who are lawyers in Jonesboro.
Are you talking about the right one? I've done business with Marty, not from a legal standpoint, but street rod building standpoint, and I've found him to be very nice.

He's a real ego trip. He can't wait for the Rodeo each year, so he can donate his advertising money- enough that he gets to ride a horse in the opening & drive the Central Chev truck around & pick up the barrels. ha. How shallow & obvious.
Can you say JERK!

I read in the Jonesboro Sun that now he is the prosecuting attorney in Harrisburg. How did that happen?

I dated a guy who works at Marty's hot rod shop and I was in an auto accident. Marty insisted on taking the case from the attorney who was handling it claiming how he was so much better. I put up with very lewd comments and just inappropriate behavior due to his excessive drinking at the shop. My boyfriend was excessively drunk one evening so I went and got my car. Marty got in my face screaming and yelling I simply left with my friend that drove me out there. My friend was my mothers age sixty-ish and I thought she was going to get out and tackle Marty for the way he was speaking to me. The next day his secretary called to tell me that due to the incident I caused he had to resign from the case. He truly did not remember a single thing that happened and I had to hire a 3rd attorney. The current attorney discovered that for the 3 months Lilly had my case he did absolutely nothing. He is really not a good person!

I know Marty personally.. he is not a bad guy!! Me and my family have spent alot of time at his home! Also if you really knew Marty u would know that he is an attourney and does not run a Hot Rod Shop. Evidentally, if you are who i think you are JERK, I am sure that we both know the reason he ran u off or whatever it is he did. Because he didnt like ur ass. But what can I say. I wouldnt either. Guess u can actually say u dont date the drunk that worked for him anymore. And for ur embarrassment... u shouldnt have took ur ass out there!

If he got under your skin, he is just doing his job. My ex-husband used him against me for our divorce. He blows alot of smoke and gets under your skin, but, in the end my ex backed down and Martin even shook my hand and told me good luck. I absolutely despised him until the court date because,he plays hard ball but, his bark is less than his bite. I actually like him now. This was the lawyer that had me upset for months! You have to realize that it's just business.

I've been to his shop before with my husband. He was drinking heavy and making sexual comments to me and bragging about all the women he has "on the side". My husband says you have to get to know him, but I really don't wish to ever be around him again. I don't know what any woman would find attractive about him.
A real sorry lawyer

Martin Lilly is a very sorry lawyer. he is dishonest, sneaky and a total idiot in my humble opinion. I am in the court room on a weekly basis for professional reasons, and Martin Lilly is on the bottom of the list of lawyers I know and trust. He will take your money and try stupid tatics that do not work well in court. He gets his butt kicked on cases alot, if that tells you how well he is.Name your case, and others can refer you to a good lawyer.

Okay lets clarify there is a big shop behind his house and nightly he pays Andrew, Brad, Phillip, and Randy cash to work on cars in the shop. Why exactly would he openly invite one "he doesn't like to come out there". Personally you sound about as full of yourself as he is. Whether he liked me or hated me I was a client of his genius! He could have acted like an attorney instead of a drunk.

Your opinion of "perfectly good info" is slightly skewed! He told me to meet him at the shop bc there was no need to go to the office. He called and asked me to come to the shop to discuss things on several occasions. It is very difficult to deal w him in the shop (drinking) environment. I did not like to go out there. However, he is the attorney that tells the "client" what is needed.
