Does anyone know a good lawyer to sue walmart for personal injuries from falling in their store? It was their fault for nor having wet floor signs up.

Probably any personal injury lawyer in the yellow pages. But... Its not going to be as easy as you think. I know of people that has tried it, not saying you are in the wrong, but with their cameras and the money they have access to, all I can say is good luck. I used to be an Associate here in Paragould, also part of management in Florida. Unless you have a really strong case, they may be held accountable only for your medical bills... Good luck is all I can say.

unless you can prove that an employee saw the spill and didn't clean it up, Wal-Mart is not at fault. Your best case scenerio as someone metioned earlier would be medical exoenses covered + you pay your lawyer.

Best advice would be to consult an attorney. If you are asking for much, you will need a really good (aka expensive attorney). Wal-Mart is a multibillion dollar industry with attorneys on retainer who wouldn't even flinch at a "spill" suit. The fact that your asking for legal advice on Topix, says your wating your time.

Why can't you work some overtime or earn extra money the honest and respectable way?! People suing for stupid stuff is the reason the judicial system is so backed up!

dont let these ppl scare you from suing, walmart pays out the wazoo for insurance for incidents just like this..these are probably managers tryin to deter you from filing a suit. this isnt the place to talk about it. you can call 1 800 walmart

How do YOU know this person didn't fake a fall? Looks like we're on the same level now. The person, in question, didn't even specify their injuries. One would figure that if they fell and hurt themselves bad enough to sue Wal-Mart, the person would at least mention their injuries. I've fallen before and busted my butt! I didn't sue anyone because unlike most ppl, I feel I'm responsible for myself! Besides, I'm above milking personal injury claims for a second income. Don't you feel stupid!

Huh?! Who said anything about a criminal mind? At least I don't use 5th grade comebacks like yourself. You have officially lost this argument. Save some of your dignity and quit now.

stay in jersey trash. like i said only you would think it was for money because of a criminal mind. this walmart is very neglectful. you wouldnt know since you arent from here. it has the highest number of complaints of all walmarts...that is a fact. not just falls but rudeness, employees being mistreated, and sexual harassment so if you dont know what you are talking about then dont defend it idiot!

That is a bunch of made up BS! Cite your source. If this person hurt themselves they should have gone directly to management right then. If they are truely hurt, have signifigant proof, then they have a legitimate case. If not they are wasting their time, just like myself and anyone else posting on this dicussion board to answer someone's simple question "Anyone know of any local attorney's who aren't afraid to take on Wal-Mart?" If not, don't post. But then what fun would topix be right?=)

I understand how they say it's not their fault... I slipped on puddles of melting ice cubes inside the floor and even though the girl said "oh, they didn't clean that up yet" and hurried and wiped it with paper towels, they had no way of knowing it was there. I now have slpiied discs in my neck, had torn ligaments in my ankle, and I've been having problems with my hip. There is not one Atty. with the balls to take on walmart!
