Quite likely Chu didn't have the guts to fight hard. Considering our need for energy independence, and low carbon emmission --- why would Reid be this stupid?

Quite likely Chu didn't have the guts to fight hard. Considering the nation's need for energy independence and clean energy, it is difficult to believe that Reid is the villain.
