13 of the 15 largest welfare consuming states are liberals......

But that is something we all knew........

More proof that only the stupid and poor vote liberal.......

And of course good ole Cali is number one........

http://specfriggintacular.wordpress.com/2011/...

.
California is the nationís welfare queen: The state accounts for one-third of Americaís welfare recipients, though it only contains one-eighth of the population, and thereís no good reason for it.

The liberal elitists are/have been running the state of Calif. for decades.
The results are:
A shrinking middle class
A large welfare class
High unemployment
An exodus of many wealthy/employers
High taxes
Over bearing regulation
Outrageous public employee salary benefits
Obama is working hard to make the entire national economy look just like Ca.

'Red State Socialism' graphic says GOP-leaning states get lion's share of federal dollars
Mostly True

This graphic has been circulating on the Internet since 2008. We check how accurate it is.

Many GOP-leaning states get more in federal funding than they contribute in federal taxes.

That's the point made by a graphic thatís circulating on the Internet, titled "Red State Socialism." A reader recently pointed us to it and asked us to check it out. The chart suggests that Republicans are hypocritical for bashing the federal government and federal spending, when Republican-leaning states are reaping the lionís share of federal dollars.

The graphic emphasizes this point by showing two tables side by side. States that send more money to the federal government than they receive in federal spending are on the left, and they are primarily blue (or Democratic) states. The table on the right shows states that receive more in federal spending than they contribute in taxes. This table is predominantly red (or Republican).

The graphic says: "Of the 32 states which receive more than they contribute, 27 states (84%) are REPUBLICAN. Of the 18 states which contribute more than they receive, 14 states (78%) are DEMOCRATIC."

The source cited is a report by the Tax Foundation, a business-backed group. We checked with the Tax Foundation to see whether the data was legitimate and confirmed that it is. Spokesman Richard Morrison said that the chart uses 2005 data that was published in 2007.

So the graphic is solidly grounded in reality.

Did you read what I wrote?

40% of the federal budgetary spending is borrowed money......and it is being borrowed from your children and your grand children. So next time you look into their eyes, apologize to them for screwing them over.......you bumbling idiot.

Leave it to a whacko liberal to be penny wise and pound foolish.

btw, ca. is screwed. The current euphoria over gov. brown bragging about almost balancing the budget will soon fade. The recent sales tax hike and the new taxes on the wealthy will push ca. further down the road to ruin.........and, the upcoming federal military spending cuts will screw over SoCal in a very big way, and.........wealthy folks took their capital gains in dec. as to avoid the new state/federal tax hikes(2013) on them, so the short term budget gain will turn into a bust.
The Ca. state budget will be upsidedown in a big way come Nov. 2013.....count on it.
Then I suppose you liberal whackos will want yet ANOTHER tax hike.
Lotsa luck with that one.....voters are getting impatient with your lame excuses.
Public Employee union Pension costs are escalating far beyond Ca. ability to pay..........we are in deep sheiit thanks to liberal whacko domination of ca. politics.....and there is very little that anyone can do.

Phil Mickelson is leaving Ca. because of too high taxes.

He is paying 50-60% of his income in taxes.

The press will chastise him for speaking out, but nothing will change. Wealthy folks will continue to leave the greedy state of Ca.........they simply will not talk about it.

Phil is an honest American patriot. The other wealthy will just leave.......quietly.

Great, stay gone One. You obviously did not learn to share in Kindergarten and don't want to be a constructive citizen, so go away and don't come back.
