Good Grief...when a used car dealer claims it is too difficult to do business in Paradise then we are in trouble.
What is going on that we force a small business that has sustained itself for 4 years out of town.
Guess our town management thinks Walmart is the answer to everything around here.
Sad....bet we worked a deal with Walmart why not the small business owner, too?
Better Luck in Chico!

Good riddance! That corner was an eyesore. Perhaps the town will give careful thought to the type and appearance of any business that may want to locate at Pearson & Clark. And no. We don't need another gas station.

Yep, looks much better as a ghost corner. NOT. Another few people out of work in this town, sounds like the answer to me. ;)

Smarter than who? Your abusive comments degrade this conversation. Just Go Away. Paradise and this blog site don't need knuckle-draggers like you. You apparently evolved from the septic sump of the local gene pool!

Ah yes, an empty dilapidated building does look much better than a nice clean car, now don't it. LOL!
Perhaps we could import some homeless from SanFranfreeko and really make it a beautiful place to see.
But what else would you expect from an environMENTAList???
Who I'm sure drives a car all by their selves, all alone, no car pool and I would be willing to bet you are one of those who has a GO GREEN bumper sticker posted right above the tail pipe of your subaru!
Gotta love those Glo-Bull warming nuts!

Go live in the central valley, then see if you think that Paradise is an eyesore.

Sound's like moving isn't the answer, Somebody nedd's to learn how to sell!!!!!!!! 12 car's ? Come on when my wife started reading the article to me I thought she was going to say 35 to 40 car's a month now we are selling 20 not 12 to 8 if you don't know how to swell moving isn't the answer the unit's aren's going to sell them selves. Paradise motor's had nice inventory, too bad nobody could sell it. 12 car's could have been sold out of my driveway.
after 30+ year's in the buss. I learned a few things, hell I don't even like car salesman the old cigar smoking heavy drinking one's, time to adapt be kind listen, Don't talk so much. The customer's don't care how much you know. It has 235 hp curb weight of 320 lb,s who care's guide them listen to them help them don't overwhelm the with knowedge open the hood if it's not color coded don't touch it slam !!! What pmt did you have in mind, none of youe buss, how much do you want for your trade, none of your buss. I alway's drove by thinking, wow nice inventory, you could have made it in parsdise bad habit's follow ,time to adapt.

There are a lot of buildings around town going empty including the fire station on Wagstaff. The question then becomes, is this the beginning or are we on the road back to prosperity?

Do you just post to demonstrate your stupidity? No need. We were convinced a while back.

Stan, what we're seeing is the evidence of how well President Obamas Stimulus Package is working. Unemployment is 20% higher in the states Obama carried in the election. The three states with the highest taxes are the ones that are most deeply in debt, and they are all Blue (democrat) States.
But take heart - Many are as happy with Obama as you are: Hugo Chavez, "“Hey, Obama has just nationalized nothing more and nothing less than General Motors. Comrade Obama! Fidel, careful or we are going to end up to his right.”
HAMAS (The terrorist organization that doesn’t recognize Israel’s right to exist). During an interview on WABC radio Sunday, top Hamas political adviser Ahmed Yousef said the terrorist group supports Obama’s foreign policy vision.“We don’t mind–actually we like Mr. Obama. We hope he will (win) the election and I do believe he is like John Kennedy, great man with great principle, and he has a vision to change America to make it in a position to lead the world community but not with domination and arrogance,” Yousef said in response to a question about the group’s willingness to meet with either of the Democratic presidential candidates. So it really comes as no surprise that you get all upset when somebody says something you don't like about your man.

Economists say that Bush's downturn has slowed and that the recession...a very serious one...will end soon. If I remember, about two weeks after Obama took office, you said time was running out.

I get upset when blind and stupid little men bad mouth him incessantly. Aren't you the stupid little man who predicted McCain by a landslide?

I loved this car lot. They were always polite and respectful. Alway gave me a good fair deal as well. I will be following them to Chico!
