And until workers here in the U.S. resign themselves to working for third world wages it’s not going to get much better any faster.

The continued "slow, painful" recovery is mostly due to the real estate bust and all of the construction related manufacturing, distribution, and retailing attached to that sector of the economy.
ALL of this can be traced back to Clinton's deregulation of the banking industry back in 1999.(the repeal of Glass Steagall).
The construction sector(and all related jobs) have never recovered. hObama has deficit spent trillions on everything except where the problem existed.....in the private construction sector.
The private construction industry has been devastated.
........and the whacko environmentalists love the democrats for it. Why you ask? Very little new construction is the hObama "new normal".

If all goes right, we will have another civil war and execute ALL government and start over. Should this happen, you could bet your sweet ass the liberals would be hung first... Seeing that they have a never ending quest to destroy the constitution.

And the housing market (new construction and existing) is starting to boom again!

Stock market has regained most of its value!

Unemployment figures won't improve until the 2% quit hiring illegal’s (new housing construction, retail fast food) and investing their obscene profits in America instead of parking/sending said profits overseas.

I am so sick of my fellow Republicans right now I am having a political identity crisis.

What happened to 'taking responsibility', I always thought of that as an ideal that Republicans valued more than democrats yet here you are talking about "Clinton's deregulation of the banking industry" when anyone who knows anything about it knows it was the 'Gramm, Leach, Bliley" act that was responsible for repealing Glass Steagel.

I will give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you do not know who Gramm, Leach, and Blily are because if you do know who they are your statement was an outright lie.

Gramm, Leach and Bliley, are all Republicans. All three of them!

Yes Clinton Signed the bill, he could have vetoed it, but for you to say "Clinton deregulated the banking industry" is totally dishonest when the bill was authored by Republicans and passed through a Republican congress.

Since the bill that deregulated the banking industry was authored by Republicans and passed through a Republican congress it is fair to say that it was Republicans who "deregulated the banking industry" and caused the housing crash. We have to take responsibility for that. Trying to shift responsibility on to the democratic president who simply went along with "the will of the majority" instead of stopping the Republican majority from passing the bill is cowardly and undignified.

I am becoming more and more disillusioned with the Republican party and this type of thing is why.

What happened to the old style Republicans who would man up and take responsibility for their mistakes?

Do you know what the vote on the bill that repealed Glass Steagall was in the Senate?

53 Republicans and 1 Democrat voted in favor of it and 44 Democrats voted against it.

The House was majority Republican at that time too, and the bill passed the house with a majority of Republican votes too.

Yet you refer to it as "Clinton's deregulation of the banking industry back in 1999.(the repeal of Glass Steagall)."

Honestly guy are you being dishonest or did you really not know that it was a Republican bill passed by Republicans?

Trying to shift the responsibility on to the other side is not going to help the Republican party it just shows how and why the party is shrinking. We need to man up, admit our responsibility like adults, and learn from it. I used to be proud to be a Republican and now days 'embarrassed' fits just as often as proud.

And to further compound the issue, when the shit started hitting the fan during the 90's, bush who was in charge of the agencies charged with overseeing the banking, mortgage and securities industries wouldn't let them stop the thievery.

You notice how the right wing freaks back off their rhetoric when you post facts that prove them wrong?
