Yes we have life threatening storms and when that happens, our glorious cable company SUDDENLIK automatically switches our TVs to some commercial on the weather channel and blocks us from changing the channel to a local weather report to obtain lifesaving information. No they would rather put thousands of lives in danger throughout the community.

I also had the same problem. I just got suddenlink cable I was on dish network for 7 years. I hated dish because it would go out in a storm but the suddenlink kept turning my TV to the weather channel. I thought that was strange. The weather channel never has any helpful information for this area.
