Gonna date myself to 1988. Republican women give their heart to Bush, Democrat women give their bush to Hart.

Hey Zap, sometimes my computer does that, but not lately. Ran that idea about taking Curiosity to Venus by my other brother in law and he said no we could just go to Vegas and pick up some show girls since its not far from the Mohave Desert where it landed. Hummingbird population has increased from three to five here, the bully has met his match. Arkansas has a special 2-week goose season starting Sep 1st with a limit of five. They've got so tame here I could get that many easy, but wife said you shoot em, you clean and cook em. How bout them U.S.A, cleaned the funky Chinamens clock.

Yea I think we have a few more hummingbirds here also. Ducks and geese just pull the skin back and remove the breast and throw the rest away. Cube up the meat and cook covered with bacon strips. We have some geese We dont eat them. They are laying eggs. its not usual for them to lay in the summer. They usually lay eggs in the spring for a few months. We also still have Bantam hens sitting & hatching. Its been a year round occurance for the last year & 1/2. Im of the opinion the seasons are out of kilter.

I think its nothing to worry about until the Lord fulfills His prophicies.

I agree no point in worrying. 99% of the things folks worry about never happen. and the 1% you cant do anything about anyhow.

Good idea, Show girl should be limber enough. I only have one hummer at a time (show up). I think there may be at least 1 baby this year. With goose I perfer the dark meat. there are way too many of them every where, sand hill crane could become the next problem. Bought guineas this year for tick control. Put them out side, coon started killing them at night, over 8 days & nights lost 7, I went on guard duty 3 times. I'm proud to report at abt 3:30 am Sat morning, the bastard payed with his life. All serial killers should be put to death, they fall under my mad dog rule. can't cure them, only way to deal with them is death. Clean up agent orange in vietnam, gov said there was no problem with agent orange, does not exist. China, Syria, North Korea, Russia, Iran, if you don't stand up for your rights, you don't need them. If you live like shit you deserve it.

Last week we heard a hen squaking and went to investigate. A 6 foot chicken snake was wrapped around the little bantam squeezing her. but she was still pecking at it. Se has a clutch of babies. Nothing more vicious than a mother protecting her babies. We killed the snake made durn shure it didnt ever do that again.

Yeah me too. I have been shoring up the old pens with extra pannels of wire, New wire patches, clearing around the area of grass & depris for abt 3 monrhs, started when I decided to order the new guineas. In the 90's I ran abt 250 assorted fowl in the pens & in the yards. I put them up every night, I had 3 large cages that I kept call ducks & Black east india in. One night a big coon decided it would start the killing spree, over the next couple of weeks it killed 17 assorted ducks, bantams, & pheasants from the cages & pens. I finally got him after a huge loss. At first he would hang on the bottom of the cages with one hand & pull the little ducks legs throught the wire floor with the other. he would eat the legs & feet off them, some I had to put down because they had no feet or legs, others died from him directly. Once an animal kills one of your stock, it must die, because it will never leave. I remodled the pens & cages many times. My rule on snakes is anything over a 14 inches dies. I've killed two this year, both within the four foot length range. I don't have a problem with wild life but once they start eating from my kitchen, I will win even if I have to buy more critter as bait to get it. Did you ever raise silkies? Best mothers I have had. I raised pea fowel for a while, the Peacocks were hard on the eggs & the chicks. One silkie can set two pea hen eggs If you turn them for her. They try but, its kinda the equvilant of me trying to roll a volkswagon

There have been several hatches of wild turkey released in this area, probablly in excess of 80 .Between the shunks, racoons, crows & coyote there is decimation within 5 or six years. Some one will try to restock them again. I hope. PS coyote is always on my menu, hard to kill/hit with a pistol but I carry one for them every time I go out.

I see where merriam webster has added some new words to their dictionary. I ask again at what point does some one have the power to declare words that mean the same thing as the words they use, have the right to brainwash a society into the mind set that they have the right to decide what is a good word & a bad word.
