I havent been on here in a very long time. I came back to this site on accident but could'nt help seeing how much longer this has gone on. I think it is unbelievably ridiculous that people are still going on about Jeremy. NOBODY KNOWS FOR SURE WHAT HAPPENED THAT NIGHT!!! I was on the beach with jeremy that day before it happened and i saw him in our hotel room that night after it happened...n i myself dont know the exact details. So you people that are on here discussing and fighting over stuff you've heard is beyond me. There is absolutly no point to spend your time fighting with someone else over the internet about whether or not some kid you dont even know has got what he deserved or if he was drinking or whos right whos wrong...JUST STOP!! It amazes me to see that people can be so caught up in others lives. Unless you are a part of this case then i dont see how what has happened or is going to happen with jeremy is any of your business. It is not like it affects your lives. Im asking you for jeremys friends and family, for collens friends and family just stop...Please...just let it go and move on!

It is my understanding that one conviction was overturned and he is going to be resentenced because there was not pre-sentence investigation.

Depends whether you are the victim's family or Peer's family. For Collen and Monty's families, this will reopen old wounds. For Jeremy's family, it means a chance for him to come home earlier. I'm not surprised at this ruling. Yes he drove away and he deserves to be punished but for a first time offender his offense was a lot harsher than many others. Do I think he should do 3-5 years. Yes I do. But he'd be released at 23 or 24, still young enough to reach spring breakers and warn them it's not all fun and games. A thirty year old? Forget it.

It is totally unclear where John McCain stands on abortion, even after (because?) he has been in politics for all these years.
Conservatives Have At Least 4 Choices:
Chuck Baldwin (Constitution Party)
Bob Barr (Libertarian)
McCain (Bush-Style Republican)
Ron Paul (Independent)
McCain also refuses to support the new GI bill that will help out those who serve or have served in Iraq!!!
And, I agree with you Sandy, about this Republican congressman Vito Fossella who was recently arrested for drunk driving and yesterday admitted to having a child out of wedlock!
Fossella is ANOTHER member of the party that preaches to us about their "family values" and then they get caught having sex (and children) out of wedlock, driving drunk, having sex in bathrooms, groping underage congressional pages, etc., etc., etc., etc., etc.
Just do an online search for "Republican scandals" and you'll get a flood of raw sewage!
