DR. THOM CARLISLE IN PANAMA CITY FLORIDA KILLED MY DOG BECUASE I DIDNT HAVE THE FULL AMOUNT THEY CLAIMED WAS OWED. HE WANTED TO CHARGE ME $230.00 FOR A GLUECOSE METER I COULD HAVE GOTTEN AT WALGREENS FOR $22.00. HE REFUSED MY BELOVED DOG HIS MEDICINE BECUASE OF THAT AND NOW THAT HE TOOK MY DOGS LIFE, TWO DAYS LATER HE SENT THE SO CALLED BALANCE TO COLLECTIONS FOR THINGS WE NEVER RECIEVED. SOMEONE OF HIS NATURE SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED IN THE FIELD HE'S IN.

My name is Dr. Thom, the veterinarian. Empty is wholly incorrect and her post is defamatory. Empty has accused me and my practice of refusing to treat her dog which is false. Empty has accused me and my practice of overcharging her which is false. We treated Empty's pet and gave him all of our love and attention without regard to Empty’s ability to pay first. Empty’s dog was unable to be saved from his illness despite being given the treatment Empty requested. Empty is grieving for the loss of her beloved pet in a most destructive and defamatory way.

Here is where this dumb ass Pet own has it wrong. Upon checking in there are a number of waivers that a person must sign to get in the exam room. This form CLEARLY state that U give the DOCTOR on duties permission to look at ur pet! It also goes on to Discuss to forms of payments ONE BEING BANFIELD DOESNT DO PAYMENT PLANS. Its not Dr. C fault that u are a BROKE BITCH.. If u couldnt afford everything that came with that pet, thats ur FAULT. My dog suffers from seizers and because of DR. C she is still alive. As for me, I savesd for my PET, she has the BEST. CAUSE I SAVED FOR situations like this. UR FAULT.... DUMB ASS BROKE HOE!!!!!!!

The Banfields in Panama City will not honor "Free Visit" coupons for new customers. They are very unprofessional and have been reprimanded by the Better Business Bureau for false advertisement. They are clearly all about the money and not your precious pet!

We understand Ms. Alabaster's frustration. It's true that she was required to pay an office visit despite being a new client. Banfield uses a number of ways to reach new clients including coupons for a free office visit. The majority of these coupons specify that they cover well pet visits and are not intended for illness or injury exams. Because Ms Alabasters pet was seen for a medical concern the coupon was not accepted. On further investigation it was discovered that her coupon did not in fact have the typical exclusion and so she was reimbursed. Again we apologize for the frustration and anger our actions caused Ms. Alabaster.

We just started taking our doxie to Banfield's. She was having problems with allergies and needed dental work. Dr. Jennart treated our pet just like she would treat one of her own. We were very impressed with all the staff there, with the way they treated us and our doxie. Prices were very reasonable compared to other vets around PC.

Quit trying to get something for free. They are NOT unprofessional because they won't let your broke ass bring your pet in for free. You probably use your foodstamps to buy steak.

The prices at banfield may be a little steep at times but are so worth it when you see the love and care they give your pet. My sweet baby had to have emergency surgery on Sunday (what other vet is normally open on Sunday other than an emergency vet?!?) and Dr. Jennart gave it her all... My chicas kidneys couldn't take it and failed... Dr. Jennart tried everything possible twice or more to get them to start working again and treated us with so much respect and dignity... We had to let Chica cross the rainbow bridge on Tuesday and any animal lover will know that is one of the hardest things you will ever have to experience but the entire staff at banfield made the whole process so much less painful by showing how much they really cared... Now two days later... When most anyone else would have forgotten our pain we get a huge beautiful bouquet delivered to our home, and very sweet card in the mail, and an imprint of chicas paw that we can keep forever. I'm so glad we spent a little more to have such a wonderful team taking care of our baby!

I had the same issue, and the same results. It costs to keep a pet healthy, but the results speak for themselves. I have the pet insurance and that helps a great deal. My Dog is now going very well, and has all her hair back. Thank you Dr. Jennart, you and your team are top rate!

I was very sad to learn that Dr.jennart was not at Banfield anymore. I was able to find her on facebook though and she is going to be at a hospital in Apalachicola called Apalachicola Bay Animal Hospital starting in may. I will definitely be making the trip to see her with my kitties and hope that all that loved her as much as my husband and I do will visit her too. She is a true gift to us and our pets.

Regardless....of who or what is right, Your behavior is disgusting and are doing no justice to Banfield, with that mouth! Knowing the vets and most of the staff there myself Im sure they found your post quite embarrassing. Nor any obvious manners! Your comments above only prove that you HAVE serious issues yourself! Calling people names and insulting them Hmmmm...you can clearly tell a lot about a person by what comes out of their mouth! Bless your heart!

I pray that the comments above with all the name calling and "nasty mouth" have no children in their own homes let alone a pet of any kind! It saddens me to think that these kind of people feel its ok to resort to such ugliness to get their point across. I fully understand, and being a parent of two legged and also 4 legged children, a Banfield customer for years...I am intelligent enough to read between the lines! I agree with PCB, Banfield would not agree or advocate such remarks as above. Calling people B's and hoes...probably on food stamps.....REALLY! Do you have an idea what you sound like to the rest of the world.....I concur "BLESS YOUR HEART" and please Lord don't let them reproduce!

I have taken my chocolate lab, Coco, to Banfield since we got her when she was just 8 weeks old (she is now 4 years old). They have been nothing but wonderful with her. Coco is like a child to me and they treat her the same. Coco has loved every single person that she's seen there and loves going to Banfield. I don't know where these other people get these stories from, but Banfield here in PC is the absolute best and I wouldn't take my wonderful Coco anywhere but to them.

Carried my toy dog 2 Banfield n PC it was to the point he had anxiety attack 10 miles from Banfield . We literally had to drag him n or carry him. He wud hve a seizure or faint. This was trauma on him/us. Carried him 2 Tallahassee Banfield & many
Problems were solved. Dr Jannart was good but the other vet needs experience. Lost 2 teeth during cleaning the other vet did not explain why tossed him n my arms stated he had lost 2 teeth & wud not need them.. he is having 2 chew food n corner of his mouth . Vry disappointed n vets @ Pc. Majority r 2 inexperienced.

I took my dog to Banfield about a year ago when she was very sick. Before they would even let me see a vet, they wanted ME to decide which tests to do. How in the world would I know that. I was in a panic because my beloved dog was hurting. They ended up doing some tests, but in the end telling me my dog was just fat. I did not choose to do an xray because I had no idea what they needed. I am not a vet.
I took her to another vet the next day and they did an xray right away and determined that she had a tumor in her belly (yeah, she was just fat) and was bleeding to death. She did end up dying.
I don't completely blame Banfield because I had a choice of which vet to take her to. But they need to change the way they ask worried pet parents to choose which diagnostic tests to do. It makes no sense at all.
