Why don't you come forward, since you insinuate that you have knowledge of what "really" happened. Put up or shut up baby!

I worked with Aric Wemple at Illinois Roses in the late 80's. If Aric was anything like he was when I knew him he probably did steal the bike and he got what he deserved for it. One would think he gained some common sense in the past 35yrs guess he didn't. I feel bad for his daughter, anyone can be a dad it takes a man to be a father.

There are too many unanswered questions to this...and somebody knows the answers but are not man enough to face the consequences. Unfortunately, Aric paid the ultimate price! I do not believe he stole the motorcycle...but then none of us who really know Aric think he was stealing it. Aric was a very good father and loved his family. He may not have been an angel...but few of us are!....but he didn't deserve this!

wow~i cant believe that someone would write that Aric deserved death for his punishment. This "Turtle" person, I'm sure, mst be perfect in every way. I am so sure that they have never made a mistakein their sad, miserable life. Seriously, what kind of white trash, unnecessary, rude and pointless comment was that? You should be ashamed of yourself for writing something like that when you know that his family would read this. What a slap in the face. Remember what comes around goes around.

He DID steal the bike. All you have to do is watch the survalience camera footage. He searched the bikes for one with a key in it. He found it and looked around to see if anyone was looking , and took it. Doesn't get too much clearer than that. No he didn't deserve to die, but he did steal it.

We all make mistakes in life. Only God and Aric know the truth on the bike being stolen or not. Not that i condone stealing, but a bike can be replaced, a life cant. I feel for those who have lost. May God comfort you. Remember to all, none of us is fit to judge. We all fall short in life. "He who is without sin, cast the first stone."

Every one has an opinion ,ironic isn't it. The supposedly "stolen bike" was owned by a kid Aric had known since he was 10 years old, he couldn't afford the payments and he only had insurance for a week or so. Guess who paid for it,not only with his life but with his ins. co.
