I was disappointed to witness the conduct of the Iowa Park Hawks during the game in Pampa last week. There were several unsportsmanlike conduct calls, but there were many more that the refs didn't bother to call or didn't see: late hits, spitting, punching / gouging in the piles, face masks, etc. Football is a tough sport, but there is a huge difference between playing tough and playing dirty. Sour grapes? Maybe, but it sure left a sour taste in my mouth. Iowa Park either A) coaches this sort of behavior, B) encourages this sort of behavior, or C) turns a blind eye and doesn't discourage this sort of behavior. I am glad to see that the Harvesters are above that.
