Monday's Letters to the Editor

Full story: Daily Breeze

Meg McCarty-Marple longs for the day when Big Brother's Health Police can structure your life for you.

Lets give Meg credit for announcing that she really wants to control what you do and how you do it in the pretense of "health care".

(This is kinda like the Lef't's other trick to run your life, "Global Warming" you have to do what we say because if you don't, it will destroy the planet. So we'll have a unionized bureaucrat or one of the members of the Obama Youth Corps watching every thing you do and reporting you to the cops if you fail to take the appropriate action.)

It's all about POWER. The POWER to tell you what to eat. How to live. And to micromanage your life, because to people like Meg, YOU'RE TOO STUPID TO RUN YOUR OWN LIFE.

Sorry Meg, I think people have the right to be stupid, or unhealthy or anything else they way.
I think FREEDOM is a lot more important than FREE anything else.

You are very uncute. You must be insane, if you want the US to continue to waste money on healthcare. Yes you are uncute, downright ugly in your soul and countenance.
you have the wrong moniker, try "dumber than a rock".

How do you get from "let the government run your life" to "continue wasting money"?

While there are lots of things that could be done to make health care better, having the government do it, isn't one of them.

Tort reform would help more that Obamacare: http://www.cbo.gov/ftpdocs/106xx/doc10641/10-... Of course, that analysis is from the always biased Congressional Budget Office.

Price Waterhouse, seems to think that the Obamacare plan is a financial disaster. http://www.cbo.gov/ftpdocs/106xx/doc10641/10-...

But let me ask you a very simple question. When have you ever seen a government activity come in within budget and actually perform the way it was "supposed to" perform?

I've never seen that in my life time, but maybe it happened before I was born or in some other place.

If you think you are going to get "free goodies" from the government, you are really off in the weeds.
