How can the District justify paying Gary RauchFrustrated over 150k annually to lead a school that gets worse every year? How is he qualified? Seriously, this is ridiculous money for an unqualified man. Someone help!

Compile all complaints making sure to use facts, talk with other parents of students of the school making sure they are well informed about the lack of progression .Call the district office to have the subject of the progression of the school put on the aggenda for the next board meeting. Get as many parents as possible to attend this board meeting. Be relentless asking for change and that the school is in need of new leadership. Always remember that the parents and taxpayers are paying these salaries and that progression is demanded and that Mr. Rauch has had ample time to implicate progression and that this has not happened and respectfully request his replacement.

He does not deserve it. He doesn't even like his students that attend there. Kids are arrested for verbal altercations that get out of hand. This is their 11th or 12th year of failing status. The population is close to 2000 and not even 500 students make sup? Something is wrong with that picture. Look it up on the interactive school report card. The administration is focused on the wrong thing.

The district cares about Shepard....the alledged cream of the crop of the district.......not! With the right focus, DDE can be a great school like it was when I went there. Don't get me wrong there are some good teachers, but just not enough. And most are overpaid, ironically enoughà

Gary Rauch is a horrible principal. His smile is as fake as his teeth.

Shepard, the cream of the crop? They must be so proud that Shepard ranks 451 out of 669 and dropped 17 schools last year. They don't meet state standards either, hell Give them all a raise.(Ha)! Has anyone ever paid attention to how the students of Eisenhower are administered tests? No wonder these kids are unable to meet state standards. Who ever allows this is just asking for failure. This school is in need of a major overhaul and yes they need to replace the current principal with one that shows interest in the student body. Too much money being spent on low quality services for our kids.

The student body has changed at Eisenhower. It is mostly lower income garbage now. No wonder the test results are bad. The world needs ditch diggers too you know!

Well then, if this is how "Grad" perceives this situation, perhaps the taxpayers should look into how much a "ditch digger" instructor should actually be paid and offer this to Mr. Rauch.

Also, add the FACT that Principal Rauch is unconcerned about the health and safety of the children and staff.

Out of everything I read and have agreed with, I can't believe this man is still the "leader" of our school, making far too much money. Someone needs to tell Ric Flair to take his money and run, before the townspeople start coming with tortures.
Corruption...especially in education...is sad.

Greg means.. a good percentage of the kids in the school have parents that aren't involved in their education. Do they contact teachers and see what their child needs help on? Do they monitor Skyward on a weekly basis to make sure their kids are turning in homework? Are they talking to their kids to find out how their day went or if there are any problems going on? I do all of the above and all of my kids did great at DDE. Ranking in the top 10% of their graduating class.

Teachers can instruct but students need to WANT to learn.

This is absolutely right - no one will BLAME THE PARENTS! IT'S THEIR FAULT PERIOD... it's their fault their kids are failing, it's their fault the board members suck BECAUSE THEY ELECTED THEM (or elected them by not voting).

NO ONE TAKES PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY OR HOLDS ANYONE ACCOUNTABLE!

I will give the benefit of the doubt that the principal is garbage.
But...
I am a sure...100% that a high percentage of students at DDE don't take their own education seriously.
You get out what you put in.
Period.
And not to burst your bubble top 10% mom but that may factor to a top 40-50% at many other schools...Just saying.
More parents whose first language is not English.
Less parents with college educations.
More kids with gang involvement.
Less kids with two parent and education involved parents.
More parents where just graduating means success.
Less parents pushing their kids to achieve high honors, death s list, and so forth.
Be realistic.

I missed this post. You said it all already. Many of these thug kids think high school is just a game/party. They are not trying to prepare themselves for life. The government can just pay their way because that's what they already know...
