I am not the same poster you asked the question of earlier. But I do have many years of restaurant mangament experience.

What exactly would be my intent??? I have many years of restaurant management experience but no longer work in that industry. I made a comment about the poor quailty food fried up by illegals, that you think is "fine dining" . That says a lot about how worldly you are. Get out of the hood once in a while buddy. Experience other restaurants where the food is actually prepared by a chef and the owners care about buiilding their clientele.

Yes, I go to Oliver's once in a while. When I'm to tired to care and just need something quick to eat - its a step up from the drive thru window. It is by no stretch of the imagination "Fine Dining"

Fine dining? Nobody said that. Its a bar with good food. Don't go there. You sound pretty upwardly mobile. A Chef? Get out of the hood? Get a life. But you admit you go there. Is it the cold beer? The pretty waitresses? What brings you there? I think your full of crap and like to instigate shit.

I don't believe you, I think you are still in the restaurant business and would like to lessen competition, being as the place is packed almost every night, most people don't agree with you..

I have to agree that if anyone thinks Olivers food is prepared by a chef they have to be somewhat slow unless they mean chef boyardee. Go to a real restaurant sometime away from your precious Oak Forest and you will know what fine dining is. The only fine dining we have is Jack Gibbons where you can get a good steak. New Horizon serves up everyday food that is tasty. Those two are if you want to get away from the bar scene and gambling machines.

Chef Pablo whips up some tasty tacos and southwestern egg rolls. The Irish nachos are pretty good also. I saw them on "check please " on wttw. Yup, fine dining, you nitwit. Cold beer, sports and attractive waitresses. And no burglaries since the chase. Keep moving, nothing to see here.

Olivers, best Friday fish fry in the area. That ought to make the whiners happy. Let's boycott all sites that allow anonyamous posts. I'm willing to post my name if I see other posters do it.

I am Res's alter ego. The best fish fry is at Gaelic Park, bar none. And they pour the best Guiness in town.

Because i will defend myself and my family, you get what i mean? Im not some bad a$$, but i am not a push over. I dont need the issues. If you dont at least understand, move on, nothing for you to see here.
