Rybak's website when she ran for the school board stated how a well run school district was important in keeping property values up. She urged voters to support her as she was someone who had the insight and financial acumen to make that happen. The school scores have dropped along with property values and then she voted to raise my taxes. Now she's going to fix Midlothian. The first thing she'll do is hire Billy Gleason's law firm as pay back to her boss. The second thing she'll do is route any money into the Bremen Township School Treasurers' office like she did with the park district.
Can't we VETO her out she sucks. We can't allow Gleasons son to do any work for the village .She has screwed up every committee , board she's been on this is outrageous .I wish I could afford to move with her as Mayor it's only gonna get bad fast.

Well we can only hope that the next resignation is the lawyer, the administrator or maybe the one that screws up our water bills who's dad just got voted out. Oh who am I kidding? I'll take anyone that wants to resign. I'm not sure there is anyone in that place that treats you politely when you go there or gets up to help you. They don't even look up unless you clear your throat or call out "excuse me" loud enough. They just act like you're invisible.

Whether you supported Terry or Sharon, can you at least treat everyone with respect. These are people we are talking about. I understand ranting and raving about public officials. They understood what they were signing up for. However, attacking full time employees of the Village just because you are angry is unreasonable. It is easy to attack someone when you have no idea what they actually have to put up with. The economy is awful right now, and Terry did not cause it which appears to be the general assumption these days. Now that Sharon has won, I wish her the best. Whether you support her or not does not matter anymore. She will be in office for 4 more years, and as a Village resident, I hope she does a good job because I want the community to improve. It will be an uphill battle, and I hope she is successful. I truly believe that Terry did everything he could to make the community better, and I do not believe any of the conspiracy theories. Now please attack my post about how I am a Village employee (which I am not) or about how I am a Terry supporter (which I am). Now all I can say is that I am a Village of Midlothian supporter.

Um Common Decency, when they got jobs that affect the public directly they signed up for us to complain about them. If you are standing at the window to pay your bill and get ignored for several minutes and have to clear your throat, tap the glass or say excuse me to get ONE of them to get off their tush and help you, they deserve the ranting and the raving. Just saying.

And the water bill one in question deserves it as well. She especially deserves it.

Um 5 yr Resident, Common Decency is right, stop attacking everyone. It is obvious that you hold a grudge against the water bill lady because of your friend Larry Ryan. Get over it and move on - better yet, move away. Perhaps they do not jump up to help you because you come off as a "know it all" and general pain in the butt. Just saying.

The woman that did that with the water bills (twice not just once to Larry Ryan) is disliked by many so tired of 5yr perhaps you're the one that is the pain in the butt.

You are aware she screwed up the water bills several years in a row right? We're not talking small potatoes here either. Misplacing a decimal on that scale is huge.

If you think calling me names is going to negate the validity of what I'm saying you're going to have to think again. You may not like that I know different things or that I post them, but instead of insulting my intelligence, try working on your own. I am sure you are quite capable of learning and disseminating knowledge and not just insults.

I don't think 5yr is always attacking everyone, it's just that she happens to be right on a lot of things she posts. She does her research before she post and usually has facts beforehand. She's right though, heve the people "behind the glass" should resign. Denise has an $80.000 a year price tag and can't deal with people and the little missy whose daddy just got the boot should also get the boot. Get over the fact that she disclosed personal information about a Private citizen is Unethical whether they are running for Public Office or not. Get over Larry Ryan, he's in another state now. Maybe 5yr should consider running for Trustee in a couple of years. Time to get the other 2 out of there and new blood in. Yep, I'd be one of her biggest supporters. NOW, Put that in your pipe and smoke it!

Did I just hear someone else call you a Know It All? Thought I was the only one, and if you are proud to have that little turd WW1 come to your defense you really are pathetic. As far as the villiage employees, I've never had a problem. The skinny blonde woman is really nice. Wow five year for someone who never leaves the computer I can't believe you don't pay your water bill online. I bet you wear your CPC shirt when you go pay too and think you're hot shit.

I say bounce them all and put people in there who want to work and deal with the Public and not feel like they are being put out to answer a question or 2. Hell, we could probably get some people at half the wage and better personality.

<quoted text>Take a ggod look at a Map of Midlothian. We are what they call Landlocked. Meaning we cannot expand our borders, which means we have to work with the property we have, which means, don't ever count on a Big Box store coming here. We just don't have the land to support this. As far as Orland Park goes on Business' take a slow drive down LaGrange. You'll see a lot of empty store fronts. What you say? In ORLAND, Yes Orland. What we need here is for the greedy lqandlords to quit asking such a high price square footage wise to attract a business to there empty storefronts and SOMEONE whoever it may be in this VILLAGE to help attract business. The Car sales may be gone but, we need a good car salesman to sell this town to a business.
What towns right around us are not landlocked?
Isn't 147/Cicero large enough for a big box store?
Wouldn't you need to take a slow drive down Lagrange to see empty storefronts because their is still so many full of cars?
Do you really think it is an honest comparison to compare our empty storefronts with Orlands?

So you are saying that its okay for our village employees to leak your personal information. I'm not saying that I completely agree with 5 yr on everything but where was the compassion when that info was leaked. Not only on Larry but also on a candidate that ran this year? Where was the disciplinary action on this employee? It seems that they use a completely different set of rules for themselves but expect everyone around them to follow all rules. It's just not okay what she did.

Thank you Pete. I don't always agree with everything I see posted here either, but I think it's important to get the information out there and communicate with one another. You are quite right that it was another candidate that ran this year that she leaked that information on again. I find it hard to believe she isn't fired already, but maybe now we'll see some action on that front.

In order for a Big Box to be on 147th and Cicero, it would take a deeper Frontage due to truck traffice making deliveries. Trust me on that one since I do studies on where the best locations are. Part of my job for well over 40 years.Com paring empty fronts, I was on LaGrange on Easter Sunday, very little traffic, that made me notice them more. Our empties should be less expensive than Orlands. Just may be getting too expensive to open in Orland. Who knows?

seconded the motion. Roll call indicated

just because they went to a closed session for possible litigation doesn't mean a lawsuit. What other lawsuits have they had?

I wonder what kind of crap Terry will pull before he leaves office. He's already tried to convince the entire workforce that they are losing their jobs. I'm so glad to be done with his dirty politics!
