I urge all to carefully read this referendum which is a property tax hike. Mike Flannery from Fox Chicago reported that it underestimates the amount. The $30/100,000 is really$64/100,000 and goes up each year, according to the Cook countyTownship Assessors Associatio(A. Elsaffar). If you read the minutes from the PFPD meetings, this is more about unsustainable union pensions than you would like to hear. This can be found in the Suburban Mayors Association report. We should vote no to another taxe increase. Look at your water bill, which contiues to rise at regular interval. Couple that with the income tax increase. We have to stop these local bailouts or else teh State will NEVER change pensionsIlive inPalos Park
