I know there was a lot of people there, but does anyone know who the tall, middle aged cop was that was at the health fair? I asked him a few questions and he was clueless. The young kids doing the finger printing gave me my answers. Just wondering who this was.

i asked a simple question. There was no need for you to call names. No, I didn't ask. I did look to see if I could see his name and I couldn't. I had two small children with me who needed my attention at the fingerprinting, so no, I didn't ask him his name. It wasn't a big deal, I was just wondering. You seem like a real winner by the way. Really sad that this is what we have to offer.

I am a new resident. I was very impressed. i talked to the police officers and the Commander that was present was very friedly and answered all of my questions. He was very honest and helpful as a matter of fact a credit to the police department. As a 59 year old female I thought it was sweet the very handsome firefighters wearing their pink shirts in honor of breast cancer awarness. Job well done. I am new but am a big supporter of the police officers and firefighters. Great job.

I agree, I think it's a great thing that Crestwood does. We have been going for a few years and are always impressed. It's nice to see communities still willing and able to pull people together like that.

Thank for the complaints on our pink shirts we are trying to more and more to show our support for everyone. We are also doing red shirt Fridays, gold shirt month for childhood cancer support, and blue shirt for colon cancer. A lot of us also do st. Baldricks it's where we raise money for childhood cancer and shave our heads.
I do know the cops that were there but that fair they have nothing to do with it, it's all fire so that could be the reason why.

I am a long time resident and enjoyed the fair. We need more of this in Crestwood. The water scandal has tore the whole town apart.

Having events like this brings the community together. Who ever is responsible for this event great job. Iwould also like to say thank you to the police and fire departments.

Over the last several years they have been beat up quite a bit. Some of it may have been justified most of it was not.

To all of the dedicated public safety officers who protect me and my family 27/7 thank you. It is time we as residents stand up for you guys and show some appreciation. I realize the pay is low. I hope with a new administration coming in they will bring your pay better in line with surrounding towns.

Last but not least I pray for your safety. Thank you for being there in our time of need no matter what the weather conditions are. I will keep you guys and girls in my thoughts and prayers. Stay safe.

Nice post John. This town did not get torn apart over the water at all.It is really a non issue. When the case is over and they are all found not guilty you will see what a waste of time it was

Thats the best you got name calling? The Village Board SAID that if Frank and T were found gulity they would have to pay the taxpayers back Fact. You know I know the Villags knows they don,t have that kind of money so why keep paying? The trial has been pushed back 3 times now it wil be AFTER the April Election Odd I think.Ever time it gets postponed the taxpayers pay. 4 Million is more then are fair share

If you know how your tax dollars are being spent get involved. Go to a village board meeting and ask. Topix will not get you a fair and balanced answer. Do not come back with excuses two new trustees will not allow any BS and if you don't go and ask you really don't know. So get off of your azz and chec for yourself. And for the record if Frank and T are found quilty they have to pay for there legal fees. That is it not foot the whole bill.
