Mike Davies wants his stooge, Jack Lind, join his "power grab" Trustee Election Slate to run in the 2011 elections. Once, Davies has control of the board. 1. He will take over the village government. 2. Use his power to get more Law Business. 3. Drive Gene crazy 4. Run for Mayor in 2013 (and rule the village for life) 5. Hire all of Jack Linds relatives and get the super charged pensions for life. Ain't Politics Grand.

Those speed bumps are for idiots who can't read the 20 mph posted signs. There should be some around the park too.

Wait. Jack retired based upon union and goverment incentives. Wow that is just an injustice. Also it is MIke's fault because if he wasn't their this plan wouldn't exist. Mike also has the power himself to vote on such a plan and pass it without anyones input. Maybe the vilage implemented the plan just for Jack. They offered a buyout to many employees so that would free up future expentitures. Good luck with those theories. Hey go after the school district who pays the top adminstrators a boatload of money Interesting wrote: why would mike vote to do this, why was it so important for mike to get jack lifted out of having,to work for living. All on my dime.WHY? That was disgusting and a perk none of us will ever have. YOU WILL HAVE A VERY HARD TIME EXPLAINING THIS TO THE VOTERS OF CHICAGO RIDGE. See ya in 2011 Bitch.

This retirement offer came to all village employees who qualified not just Jack. Steve in the library that always helped patrons also fell under this option and took it. Should we beat him up also. Mike did not create some special retirement plan for Jack. All trustees were present including Dan why didn't he vote it down? That is with the fact that people for decades received pensions plans. I'm sorry that people who work in places that dont offer this program get upset. Lets take someone who people feel is a great guy Dan Badon. He retired with a nice package from his place of business as well as his wife who worked for the park district. Both in their 50's at the time. I'm totally not knocking the two great people but also retired with nice benefits. It is common practice among many government agencies and private business to offer this as a way to save money for future. Why Jack? For as long as I remembered he did volunteer and been a visible leader in the coomunity. Are these are the same voters who allowing a principal to make more than 90,000 a year with minimal adminstrative experience. The super over their will be retiring soon wait until you here about her package. Where is the outcry. Sorry this seems to be just a personal attack on the two and will not hold water if he does run for office. What are you going to say it is fair that Dan gets a retirement package from his job but its different why? The state put it out there, the village proposed it to all qualified. You don't like it go after the state or try to go to meetings and voice your opinion. This was not a backroom deal all public documented. This is a deal that benefits the state, village, and voters. So what if he gets along with Mike and Gene. If Gene is soo soo corrupt the voters had many many chances to vote him out and it has never even been close. Here is novel idea next campaign election talk up the great things the candiate will do for the village and not strive on attacking the others character. No I'm not on either side of the poitcal coin.
