Well, I would like to thank the people of worth and Chicago ridge who have helped, looked out for, given a hand out to, or just had a kind word or a hello for my mom. I regret to inform the people in this forum of bad news. On Oct 7th at 10am. Eleanor, my mom. Lost her fight with cancer. Arrangements are being made for her. I don't know what else to say, except thank you. To everyone that befriended her or just worried about her.
Amen to you brother, may your Mother enjoy her peace in Heaven.

I will post when service is for friends and family. I also want to say thank u. To everyone that has been a friend to mom. In the world we live in today, it is nice to know that there are still good people out there, that will help a stranger.

What's AMAZING is you have an individual out there living on the streets that has family that can help her...not strangers with handouts that pity her and they can feel good about themselves because they aren't afflicted with her illness. She stubbornly accepts help and disrespects them in the process. Quit feeling good about yourself at the expense of this Eleanor, you parasites.

Ive known Elenor for quite a few years now. She was truly a REAL person. I hope the family will let us know if and when there will be services. The town is truly in mourning. We lost a strong beloved soul who mean alot to the Village. We would all like to be there to show our support and say good bye to a friend and a Chicago Ridge Legend.
