Anyone surprised? They shouldn't be.

Seems like there's another story of a crooked Chicago cop being published everyday.

Where is "The Fuzz" and "Cop Wife" to state this is an exception to the rule? Seems like this is the rule for CPD.

I feel pity for good cops having to work with this type of trash and then if they want to say anything they can't or they'll happen to go into a dangerous situation and another CPD officer will be "busy" stealing something from Walgreen's.

Another Example of Dirty cops doing what they do best.....Stealing, lying, planting evidence, and trying to get away with it. Even though one testified against the other, they BOTH should go to jail... Why doesn't the Police Pension Board SUBTRACT that amount STOLEN from their payroll?

Sad to read....at least these two morons won't be patrolling our streets any more. No wonder morale is so bad. People don't want to read about the good that people do, they want to read this crap. I only hope those of you who read about these two poor examples of law enforcement please do not paint all cops with that brush!

Nelson,
There are 15,000 officers in the CPD and you can only think of two examples of misconduct? Even if you multiply that by a hundred, its still a very low rate. What other occupation has a crime rate that low? Not the governorship of Illinois. Not the City Council. Probably not your local hick police department. Pay a visit to the big city and get a clue.

And people wonder why many minorities do not trust or like the police. This is a prime example. I believe we will run into more on the upcoming days.

Is it possible to get a drug dog to check your car BEFORE the cops search it at a routine traffic stop?

These shameless, heartless, and corrupt men not only stole money, but they framed innocent people and deprived them of their liberty. I wonder how much it is going to cost the City of Chicago to settle the legal suits that will almost certainly be filed by those who were wronged by these jerks.

Typical cops. They're just like cockroaches. For every 2 that are busted, there are 100s who are getting away with even more crime.
To the idiots who defend cops, get a life. Just because officer friendly bounced you on his knee when you were younger and you haven't gotten that special moment out of your head, doesn't mean the majority of cops aren't crooked. Get your fix by visiting a priest behind doors and open your eyes.

I just knew some idiot would say it's onlt two cops. IT'S ALL COPS. EVERY LAST STINKING ONE. Just because they don't get caught doesn't mean they're innocent.

To cirpos and Jack, it's quite clear that at some point in your life, you either lost a girl to a cop, or more likely, you tried but just couldn't seem to pass a police test. Then again, you have to actually be a high school graduate to take one. And no, Jack, your G.E.D. doesn't count.

When cops are touting their intellectual capacity you know the forum has gotten ridiculous.
