Lets not get all worked up over this. The Mayor is giving away your City while all of you are just sitting there writng about it.
We have a good town. but, I think that your Mayor is giving away to many things that aren't discussed at your Meetings.
I read he gave away your Church on 159th street but never brought it to the City Council. Is that right Mr.Mayor? Come on now tell us the truth..
Maybe that is why the Aldermen don't live in town..He is a one MAN Show.

Considering she crapped all over the taxpayers for a number of years while kissing Gordon's read end, I'd say she finally is reaping what she sowed.

I heard she wants to run again for alderman. After the way she pissed on voters when she lost I hope she runs again so I can call her a two time loser. That PROUD UNION HOME sure does a lot of off the book work.......should I call the 134 hall and talk to a certain person?

Hullinger never voted against a tax increase for OF residents. If so, please tell me when. Lived there 22 years, never remember it. Ensing may not currently live there, but at least he's gone against the mayor on occasion. For that he at least gets some sort of credit. And no, I am not an Ensing, and didn't vote for him last time, as we did not live there at the time.

Hes only voted against hank his chinaman when it was a trivial matter and only after hank gave him the ok..... Lets look at the water charges.... Sales tax increase ..... Hanks backyard lake...... Against the red light cameras.... The list goes on.

So would you add him and Hullinger to the long list of Bobble heads on City Council? The only time any of them talk is when there is a really silly idea that doesn't impact their chances to get re-elected! Bringing up concerns on a item of the council meeting and then voting for it, just shows how the fix is already in for that item! The Ensinger - Hullinger debate only makes it a more interesting issue in the 5th Ward! Election time is drawing near for some, looking forward to seeing if there is any competition for those spots! Need to at least have a good debate on the issues, may not change anything, but it may take away the thoughts of how the taxes keep going up and next the water and so on and so on!!

Why should we believe you are not Ensing? Prove you are not him.

Not Ensing, for the last time. My point was the hullinger will never get back into the seat, as she flamed the wards residents after she lost. Should she run again they will haunt her as much as her actions.

Happy holidays.

Hi Verla
Not Verla, but thanks for the compliment! The best part of this sight is the inter-action of ideas to try and see who is saying what! The ideas about the cleaning of city hall and all the great things (not) going on with the Kuspa/Richmond regime just shows me how important a sight like this is now! Wait until the next great Kuspa/Richmond idea about improving this town blows up again in their faces! Watched the meeting last night, there are some crazy ideas coming out of the Administration and Council that they better check into before they move too much farther forward on!

I would hate to see them all wind up with egg on their faces! Should be asking more questions and asking the correct ones, but many of those council folks are just pawns and really don't have their own ideas! Hope the bomb doesn't hit them too hard when it comes down!

At least there were two aldermen who voted against it with very valid reasons. It was surprising that the 2nd ward alderman would approve it since he does not even like music in someone's car.

I agree that surprised me also with all the points he brought up! I really don't think this discussion is over yet though! I have a strong fealing that they may have to discuss this further before it is implemented! The situation though is if the community itself would create these opportunities for the youth to stay active! Driving a 15 year old to Naperville for a Dance club seems a bit out there to me! I guess we would need to consider the parent that would do that type of thing to see their motives!

Too many of these aldermen were so overly enthusiastic about this business, just wonder if there is a mandate they have been told they must follow! Just do not see this business succeeding in this community! Dotson seems to know something more about this also with his less than glowing endorsement!

By the way I love Verla, I wish she was on the council right now, it would be interesting theater!
