If you look at the state of the Village Joe Werner quit a long time ago and his rubber stamp trustees just sat back and did nothing ,No independent thought from the lot of them. Lets not quit on Mokena and hold Frank accountable to getting the job done and offer some help along the way . Do this if you care about Mokena

Frank wasn't effective as a Trustee and I don't see him fearing well as a Major

You guys are all the haters! OK where were you years ago to tell Fleischer, Rusiniak, and Rhonda to give up their sour grapes. The incumbents don't have any sour grapes, they just need to protect the people of Mokena from being sold down the river. It will be a huge mistake of the Mayor if there is a split board to have to break ties all the time. Just ask Chiszar about that one. And no kidding more elections will follow!!!You're right. Amen.

Down the drain: Don't blame Werner, just get out and fight if you really believe Fleisher is that bad, because he is. And I didn't give up on werner easily, just can't dwell on it, need to get the other 4 incumbents elected for the sake of Mokena.

You seem to be given to making sweeping statements about other people that are not even backed up by something that you made up out of whole cloth. I guess you figure that everyone is just going to take your word for it. The problem is that each such gossipy statement reduces your credibility by another magnitude.

What is it that you have to say about the challengers in a specific manner? Certainly you can't find anything good to say about the incumbents, or you would have said it already.

Fleisher failed as a trustee and former mayoral candidate so why would they want him again, the people are just stuck with him unless a credible write in files. Fleisher was Labriolas fourth choice in asking him to run. Tony failed miserably on the school board, and Windburg dumped her people to take a paying job in the park district that nobody else had a chance to apply for. Don't know much about the clerk candidate or Vince but I do know that they ALL went along with the petition objection which was nothing but weak from the beginnng. Talk about cry babies, lets file an objection so we can maybe run unopposed. If the people of Mokena go for this, then they deserve what they will be stuck with.

Now your worried about people getting a chance to apply for a public job. Wow where was that concern when Werner got the job in Blue Island by his own admission without going through the application process. You sure have a short memory. Especially since I called you out on that point recently and you refused to answer. You should probably quit while your behind, because you are doing nothing for the remaining candidates thats for sure.
And as far as running unopposed, you can thank your guy Mayor Joe for making sure that happens now cant you. Again why dont you just shut up because you make a bigger fool of yourself with each post.

I don't care what happens in Blue Island. Mary Beth resigned to take a high paying position in the same department she was elected to oversee. Now that's [email protected] up and wrong! Me no fool pal. The challengers are all bad for Mokena.

Yes you are a fool. Your guy joe took a job in Blue Island by his own admission without going through the application process. He was another publicly elected official at that time. He also happened to be the mayor of Mokena, that had already hired the mayor of Blue Islands son and multiple other friends of the mayor of Blue Island including our public works director. You can try and spin it anyway you like it, but you are dead ass wrong. Keep trying and maybe you will sink all the other candidates you support as well.
And by the way, I dont support either group. And will agree that I am not a fan of Labriola either. But lets not try and call out one candidate for doing something and give the other a pass for the same if not worse actions.

And I see that you gave Joe a pass on the ill timed withdrawing from his campaign. Which in effect left the mayors race a one horse race. If you are a part of the team for the incumbents, then we are all doomed if the opposition is as bad as you make them out to be.

I hope you answer me this time. What do you mean by "being sold down the river"? If you mean not allowing a business like Walmart, McDonalds, or any other large corporation from putting their footprint in our town, then I will have to disagree with you. Sales tax revenue is what this town needs right now. The Mayberry small town feel is costing way too much.

Agree. Then move. I won't move no matter who is elected. I need to stick around and be in their faces as they sell Mokena down the river if they get elected. Figure it out for yourself what it means, there is too much to print here.

So if someone disagrees with whatever stance you have ( and we still have not heard your rationale for your stance), they should just move? Sorry, that is not how this country works. I plan on staying and seeing that a change in the village's approach to bringing business in happens.

By the way, the incumbents should be upset with Joe's announcement. They could have come up with another candidate (Siwinski, Metanias, Richmond) before the petitions had to be turned in that would have run against Frank.

Maybe they will start a write-in campaign, or maybe they want to be trustees.

Well they better file that desire to be a write in candidate pretty fast. From what I read it looks like you must file your intention to be a write in candidate at least 61 days prior to the election. So that would be right around February 7th. 10 ILCS 5/17-16.1 But I am not a lawyer.
