We got rid of a good honest attorney for this? Our elected officials have doomed Posen. They appointed this guy, and sang his praises. Something smells fishy here. Posen needs to look to see what he has done here. If he did it over there, God only knows what he has done here.

Trustee Podbielniak is responsible for bringing McCombs from Calumet Park to Posen after going out of his way to damage the integrity and credibility of Valadez. Shortly after McCombs was in place, Podbielniak is able to take control of Village Finances. Is this just a coincidence? God only knows where this may go. Maybe it's time for Podbielniak to pack his bags.

It seems a little early to be concerned about an election 3 years away. But on the other hand, if your dealing with F.Pods you better be on your toes and put a stop to him. Even now, there is no question about his ethics and "input" into village business and affairs. He badgers and bullies the Mayor, Board members, village employees and his own neighbors. Most of us are tired of his self-proclaimed "savior" attitude, particularly when it comes to the older residents of town. My 80 year old aunt sums it up perfectly "He is full of bullshit" and she never swears. Be concerned when he comes around with his "good ideas" to improve village services, streets and the safety of our community. If the current Mayor and board members hope to keep their seats in the future, they should distance themselves from this infectious creep. Personal gain is what he knows best.(Somebody mentioned him being involved in paving contracts with the village as a trustee. How did that happen?. Against the law, or just plain unethical? Please share the dirt on this guy.

He will blame everyone else for bringing McCombs to Posen after convincing the Mayor and trustees to get rid of N. Valadez as village attorney. You really don't think that F.P. acted in good faith on behalf of Posen. He did what he always does and that is only what is good for himself. Another devastating blow to Posen, thanks Frank. Sure hope this new round of crap does not involve you or any other elected official here in Posen. I'm sure this investigation will spill over and probably right in your lap. Good luck.

Frankie may have brought him to the village but the majority approved him. They All sang his praises. I think only 2 voted to save Nick. "How great of an attorney he was." Look what he does for the village" was often heard. If he took in Cal Park, Posen was a push over. There are no checks and balances. Adamek, Quirk, who will we uncover next? How much more will the Posen taxpayer put up with? When will they wake up and smell the coffee? Another sad day for Posen. We just can't stay away from questionable people.

Not the entire board got rid of Nick Valadez, one of the board members and the youngest one just got elected, he also helped do the investigatin against Quirk, so as a concerned resident please exclude him from your post. I do agree with everyone else and what they did but not Trustee Schnering. So thank you Trustee Schnering for doing a good job and helping us residents here in the community, just wanted to say smething positive since everything is always negative about Posen. He also has won an award for being a good trustee and honored for all the work he has done.

This is not my fault. Myself and the mayor got rid of Nick, due to his incompetence for getting things done, especially the Police contracts. Mc combs was the guy who got things done, not always the legal way, He per-swayed the board (the old man) to believe he was tough and will get things done. He sure billed the Village out of a lot of money.

Being in charge of Posens Finance Department, Frankie had all the opportunity to review McCombs billing statements and ignored many "red flags" either out of ignorance or opportunity. I would think this investigation would extend into Posen TIF and any other village McCombs had contact with. Watch Pods and his shell game as this one unfolds.

Frank Podbielniak is being "called out" to explain how he was involved in shoving this lawyer friend of his down the throats of Posen citizens. He has known McCombs for years and needs to explain his working relationship with him in Posen. I sure hope that Pods is not involved in any way with any sort of mismanagement or questionable activity especially if McCombs begins to cooperate to shave some time from a possible 6 to 10 year sentence. By the way, who is our village attorney now? Should never have back stabbed Valadez Frankie, things have a way coming full circle, this may only be the beginning.

I think everyone needs to slow down and find out if anything was misappropriated from the Village of Posen. To this end I am willing to review all the TIF funds and Village finances free of charge. I know how the TIF Districts work having set them up and I also know all the Village finances having uncovered the fraud before. The truth has to see the lght of day, if there is no money missing than I can report there is no money missing. If there is money missing then I can find it. I don't suffer from the conflict of having hired McCombs of Greenberg Traurig to be the village attorney, and I have done this once before.

You think they are gonna let you look over the TIF fund? What are you smoking Kevin? Not saying you don't know what to look for, but you and certain people on the board aren't exactly best friends. There is no way in hell they will let you look at anything. Will you be at the meeting Tuesday to make that offer? Cause this I want to see.
The people of Posen should demand someone look over our TIF fund from the States Attorney's office. Who has their hands on that money. Hmmmm. Knowing our past record of money mismanagement, I think they would want to look into this a little further. I would hope the village board demands that an impartial person in the sate's attorney's office be called upon to do just that. It would clear their "good" names.

The State's Attorney won't audit it ... they make you hire a firensic auditor and then they want the results ... and they don't want you to discuss the results with anyone until after conviction.

Sure hope that if funds have been abused by this guy, that Posen cops watch out for the ''we don't have money to give the officers raises'' This is the crap that they are trying to pull in Cal Park. Audit? Surely after a scam like this has been uncovered. More will be revealed soon

Also, the TIF aka SLUSH FUND the Mayor controls for projects like redevelopment. All towns out here somehow get caught funneling money thru that TIF into someones pocket.

Where is Trustee Klapkowski hiding regarding this issue? How about Jeff C. or others? I just learned that Klapkowski has known McCombs for many years and worked with him in Cal Park. This story gets better and better. Klapkowski, Pods, McCombs, all drinking at local bars including the bar owned by another Posen trustee Schnering. You could not write a better script. If Mccombs is facing 6 to 30 years in prison, maybe he'll take a couple of these guys with him. OMG Frank I would think you are first up to be talked to. You probably have nothing to hide huh? You know you will be scrambling around like a rat in a coffee can. Good luck Mr. Finance Director and the rest of your arrogant crew.
