And dont give me that cooked to order crap. The pizza kid looked stoned....they forgot some stuff.

5 something for a chicken sandwich...with no fries

4 dollars for a large fry

HogWild...2 bucks more for.a chicken sandwich twice the size with fries and you are out the door in 3 minutes.

o you have an 8th grade education? What does "aint" mean? Why does portion even come into play? Do you have to have something to take home? Speed? Another way you display how dumb you are. How fast do you want good Italian food to cook, maybe they should use the microwave? Price? You get what you pay for you poor soul. Taste? You apparently have none.

You are forever coming on here smearing Bartolinis. How can you expect anyone to take you seriously when you cant even use proper vocabulary son?

When Bartolinis first opened we went there all of the time. Chris and Dominic ran a great business. Now there prices are high and there quality isn't. They have way to much on there menu for there cooks to understand. I am not saying that I am an expert on this. Unfortunately I watch too much tv and all of the cooking shows say that a large menu is a bad sign and usually leads to a failing restaurant. Hog Wild is much better, the owners are much nicer, and they are much more village oriented. Try and ask Bartolinis to help with a village or volunteer function. If there is no money in it for them they are not interested.

I agree, "I Agree." :) In my opinion, Bartolinis care about money and nothing more. You go by Hog Wild and the line is literally out the door. Sometimes I think Bartolinis built that tacky outdoor seating area so no one can see the lack of business coming and going. I have not been there myself, but I hear Bella Mia has much better pasta.

Crummy piece of garlic bread and a small six inch tin foil tub with barely enough ravioli to cover the bottom
Thats it..
Their prices arent just high....their arrogant.

To be fair

I have had their banquet food. It was real good and i thought for the price it was great value.

You should go to Bella Mia and help support it. The food is excellent...3 times now and will be back.

I think their prices are almost as if they have really high taxes or rent like on Lagrange or something. Never thought the food was anything to write home about. However I had the 3' meatball sub at a party this year and it was really good. I am planning on having it for a bears football game.
As far as dinner for the family. No thanks.

Does anyone else find it funny how there are so many comments in so little time on this subject? Weird! In my opinion, its the same jerk off posting under different names. Surely its somebody associated with Bella Mia. this is no way to win over a customer, in fact it makes me want to try your food even less.

LOL. One is fine dining, one is casual. News for ya. Louisa's isnt competing with little Caesars even though they are both on Cicero and both serve pizza.

Just had this conversation with a friend half an hour ago. Barto's was great up until a few years ago. We do still go there, we like their food. However, service has greatly declined. There seems to be a new crop of waitresses and they are not as friendly and efficient as we're used to there. I have been there spending $100 for a large family meal on a few occasions this year and neither one of the brothers have come by to say hi or see how things were, or simply thank us for choosing them over another restaurant. They used to do that. They do go to the tables of the well known there and have long conversations. It was nice to feel appreciated as a customer, now it seems they don't feel the need to show appreciation to regular customers. They did give my husband his meal free on father's day. I believe they mean well, I would just like to feel appreciated more when we go there.

I think most other places build the tax into the price of the drink.

It's interesting to read these posts and see just how many people have become disenchanted with the Bartolini experience. I personally know of several families who were once loyal customers but no longer are, for the same reasons posted here.

i think its ok. Nothing fantastic..little expensive for what you get. 3 times a year for us tops...just for a change. The pizza pretty good though.
