If you FOIA village employee records you would find that the village employees who helped took a vacation day. If I remember right, vacations can be used for anything.

Werner used Tax Dollars for purposes other than Village Business and if you look at the Website and Board Meetings you will see that during the hours of Employment employees were used for registration of events for other groups , a Village Employee cannot Volunteer their time during Village Hours , they are to only do the business of the Village. Their lunch is a different story , but as Taxpayers we should be made aware of any non-village use of taxdollars and not have to wait until the A/G , Media and BGA begin to take interest that our Leaders " sneak through " in the consent agenda a motion to allow village resources and employees to be used . This has been going on for years and only in July did the Consent Agenda tactic begin. As a Taxpayer I want my taxdollars used for the the designated purpose of Village Business only and be made aware at a public meeting if the money is being directed or used elsewhere. This regardless of who the monies raised by the organizations goes to ! Though Robin Hood tried to do good he was still a Thief !
OMG STFU! You are acting stupid! More people in Mokena like those charitable functions than don't like them.

And what phone number did people call to make their golf reservations and dinner reservations. And to make donations and to have those donations picked up. The golf outing takes a lot of prep work also. Let alone that I don't believe for a minute that everyone who was working the golf outing was using their own vacation time to help out. Now you are going to tell me that every time they took those phone calls, etc they used vacation. Lets not even go there. Village employees on village time did work for the golf outing. Its that simple.

Fine. Let Fleischer cancel the Mayors charities events because he won't be able to do it on his own with volunteers. Let him do everything to assure that he is only a one term mayor. That way the next mayor only has 4 years of his crap to fix.
