42% is commendable, but when we compare it to Chinese Communist that get High Honors in Santa Clara county in junior, state and private colleges: they seem to keep graduations 100%, which includes worldwide.

If you visit the commission's web page and click on the details for each high school, you find that the "Percentage attending college" actually is "Percentage attending public colleges in California (UC, CSU or Community Colleges). In this context, it makes sense that Paly's numbers are low, as more students have private college options.

As a graduating Senior at Paly, I believe the above statement. Not that every student is moving onto college, but I truly believe that it's more than 42%. I just thought I'd put out there that as a Paly student, I don't believe this article and what it's implying.
