How low will the new democrats go? These are the same people that we fought in Vietnam, Korea and the cold war. Their ideas are the same as those that caused the USSR to fold. These ideas has worked so well (sarcasm) for the North Vietnamese, after they killed half of their citizens. It is working so well for that world power we call Cuba. This is the same group that kill female infants in China. Anything for the cause. The cause is a communist government. The real question is how did this happen to the Democratic Party? The once great and loyal party to the citizens of the United States. Now they are against anything American.

...and it was Reagan and Bush, Sr. that had our special forces (death squads) train a then-young BinLaden to combat those Communist forces that we couldn't eliminate in Afganistan, so Reagan could declare to Gorbachef (sp) to "take down that wall"...and where is it that Romney prefers to out-source American jobs on the cheap??? Seems to me there's plenty of blame on both sides of the fence...

I see. So a contract with the union gives permission to rob the salaried workforce of their pension and give it to the union. Hello.... NOT!!! There was NOTHING in the contract that permitted the salaried workforce to forfeit their pension to the union or more accurately be robbed of it. So if I'm selling my house to another person on contract and that person defaults, then I guess it's OK to go next down the street to another person selling their house and take their sale proceeds.

If you are wanting more of the Bush plan where we all get screwed by banks health care and the stock market, vote for the hatchet men republicans.

We The People's money was stolen by the rich, with the stock market and the housing bubble created by bankers. You can't expect to get the economy back instantly after the enormous mess we got from 8 years of Bush and trickle down economics. Quit listening to the GOP spin machine. They never answer the questions posed to them, they just try to spin it to their favor.

So go ahead and listen to them say they won't raise taxes, they will take all of the deductions off and you will pay more taxes when you get no return at all.

If you work for a living, your a democrat, like it or not.

This dumb a$$ has not one but two independent audits called for but not by him, going on now. He had 350 million missing and now 300 million missing from the State's funds. Even the little weasel Mitch Daniels is distancing himself from this crook. This is the kind of Tea Party jerks they want you to vote for. NO WAY! This damn tea party group have supported some real crooks.

January 3rd, 2007 was the day that Barney Frank took over the House Financial Services Committee and Chris Dodd took over the Senate Banking Committee. The economic meltdown that happened 15 months later was in what part of the economy?BANKING AND FINANCIAL SERVICES!THANK YOU DEMOCRATS (especially Barney ) for taking us from 13,000 DOW, 3.5 GDP and 4.6% Unemployment...to this CRISIS by (among MANY other things) dumping 5-6 TRILLION Dollars of toxic loans on the economy from YOUR Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac FIASCOES!(BTW: Bush asked Congress 17 TIMES to stop Fannie & Freddie -starting in 2001 because it was financially risky for the US economy). Barney blocked it and called it a "Chicken Little Philosophy" (and the sky did fall!)
And who took the THIRD highest pay-off from Fannie Mae AND Freddie Mac? OBAMA
And who fought against reform of Fannie and Freddie?
OBAMA and the Democrat Congress, especially BARNEY!!!!

Hasn't anyone noticed the changes since ex-lobbyist and multimillionaire Dan Coats was elected to the Senate how things have changed? Even the sun is shining brighter these days!! Lots of jobs have been created. So many small towns in Indiana that were considered ghost towns have now become thriving and productive communities almost overnight.

Dan Coats has single-handedly created millions of jobs in Indiana!! Indiana is a new state!!

We should always vote for the multimillionaire and lobbyist to best represent our interests. As ordinary Americans,we are too feeble minded to understand the complexities of what makes our state work appropriately.

LOL. The paid union dues DOES NOT give permission to rob the salaried workforce of their pension. It was the government that brokered that deal. Thanks Nobama administration. By the way, its not my company. I don't even work for them. Right to work has NOTHING to do with this issue.

...the UAW oversees that at least the minimum amount, as required by the PBGC, to a pension fund...and also by a legal contract to designate as such...in other words, the salaried had no such oversight and no legal protection from their loss and the PBGC did not have to take over the pensions, but they did assume those pensions as part of the bankruptcy agreement...
...RTW will let companies off the hook for many obligations that a UAW legal contract will enforce...it has everything to do with pension obligations for dues paying members...ergo...quite a lot of difference between salaried and salaried bargaining unit...

Hmmm.... I wonder if that's why the PBGC and the Obama administration is under investigation for robbing the salaried pension from the salaried workforce. There is no defense from shifting money from the salaried pension to hourly pension regardless of contracts. I doubt anywhere in the contract it stipulates the UAW has a right to the salaried pensions. Time will tell on this one. I'm sure it will be in the courts for quite a while.
