Though all three candidates for Carbon County's newly created judgeship cross-filed for yesterday's primary election, it was obvious that party lines came into play in the voting.

I am a close friend of Carole Walbert's. I spend a lot of time with her. I was unaware that she is a "drunk." What evidence do you have to suppoort such an allegation?

I have seen a lot of campaign signs for both candidates. Funny thing is Walbert and company seems to be the lazier bunch when it comes to removing them. I pass at least 7 of them along the road on my drive(only 4 miles)to the PA turnpike. It should be the ultimate responsibility of the candidate to collect these signs. Nothing like legalized littering!

carbon voter from Canada?-I don't think so-you should be sued for calling someone a "slut"-can you prove it-who made you judge-educated people elected Serfass-I only wish those same educated people had used their heads when they voted in the Presidential election-somehow I have a feeling you are one of those who voted for the poor excuses now in Washington. Let's see-the stimulus developed how many jobs-seems to me unemployment went up-15-17% in several states-he considers the military a photo op-he doesn't like to hold his hand over his heart for the pledge because it offends muslims-he supports the war in Afghanistan, but can't make a decision about sending tropps to help those there-he supports amnesty-you only have to be here 24 hours to be legal-he would rather tear apart the entire health care system than address the problems of tort reform, portable insurance, medical liability costs and those with pre-existing conditions -he made an ass out of this country by apologizing for it's greatness, he's done nothing about iran, he's going to tax the hell out of this country with at least 17 new taxes, cap and trade will kill us in electricity costs-what was there to vote for-socialism-this man never worked an honest day in his life, other than create ACORN and how many days was he in congress? Rock, I didn't vote for Obama. But your comments proved that you voted locally on the basis of your anger against the national Democratic platform. That is just plain ignorant. You obviously are clueless about the qualifications of the local candidates. Unfortunately, it is apparent that this is the way it went with the voters in general. So now we all have to pay for your lazily uninformed vote with a poorly prepared peron who lacks skills and experience to make much needed improvements up at that courthouse.
