I have noticed a growing pile of rotten crossties, brush & general trash along the traintracks at the railroads yard.It is not fenced and it looks like folks are starting to take advantage of this. I am sure that the pile is a fire hazard and a haven for rodents. Should this be allowed in our beautiful city?

You are sooo right George. I am surprised that this is allowed to continue. There is a landfill on I45 by the drive in theator. Why dont they take that stuff there where it can be taken care of properly? I live across the tracks not far from this illegal dump. I guess its illegal or maybe not. The railroad can do whatever they want. If I didn't have so much invested in my home, I would move. Thank you George for letting me vent.

Have you tried calling the city and complaining about this. I am surprised they haven't already done something about this. If I don't keep my grass cut, or my dog in his pen, I get a nasty leter!

I called the city and the person I talked to said if I wanted to dump my brush there, just ask the rail road first????? This is a shame, your right, I intend to visit the next commision meeting and see what can be done.....
