Buying home on FM 66 - bad idea?

I am about to buy a home about 1 mile west of the Scarborough Festival, and I found that there are 7-8 homes for sale on that 1-2 mile stretch of road. I didn't find any evidence of large developments being planned, or anything that would make several owners want to sell and move. I assume the growing traffic is the cause?
Can anybody give me their opinion on how busy of a road FM 66 really is? Can anybody think of a reason why so many people would sell and move at the same time from that area? I don't know Waxahachie well, so I hope I am not making a mistake.
