I cant believe the majority of the people on here think the way they do. Ya things are kept a secret so far cause detectives dont wanna mess up the investigation. And just because she drove a kia doesnt mean everyone else shouldnt. No matter were you live your not safe from crimes. They happen everyday and everywhere.Instead of writing stupid shit on here go do something about it. She was my little sister and I loved her so much. Thank you for all the prayers.

Dirt, I was amazed when I first got my scanner a few years ago and heard so much going on and then looked for it in the AV Press for days to see NOTHING. I had thought all the time I was reading the paper we were in the best area come to find out (after the scanner) I lived in a sheeety part of town, I just never ventured out after dark to see what was really going on! no questions we sold and moved to the westside! SOMEONE needs to get a real paper out here, I am so sick of seeing R.Rex Perris on the friggen front page of the paper...aaaarrrrggghhh. do you have the fire freqs? I have a automatic scanner but I can never find a fire freq...

Dirt,that would be cool...thank you.
Yesterday is the first thing I had seen in the paper about a murder that took place a couple of years ago, the guy is on trial now so they are gonna start putting his story on the second page so no one can read anything on the Internet unless they pay a quarter to read it....even that is toooo much money for their crappy stories...LOL

I think the sheriffs and detectives are doing their jobs just fine, Channel 9 news broke the story first goes to show how heartless they are and not the sheriffs and detectives working on the case. For me it would have been better to receive a call from the family which the detectives notified the family the following day I believe, then to find out she was in the trunk of her car from a reporter on channel 9 news I am still haunted by that news cast.

Everything happened so fast,

I will never forget the day when I pulled into the apartment complex on Wednesday and noticed 5 police cars and two detective cars and Lisaís black KIA car roped off surrounded by police tape,

30 minutes of putting the flyer up of Lisa on a glass door of a AM PM gas station someone notice the car and put 2/2 together who ever you are thank you for calling it in! Yes there were flyers up because I helped put them up.

The detectives are gathering information together to make a case and to find the person who did this, you canít just leak information out like the news.

Boy are there alot of stupid comments on this page. Maybe you should think how you would feel if it happened to your family. Maybe you wouldn't care about what kind of car you drove! Whatever... As part of the family-we are sticking together, supporting each other and praying for justice now that the guy has been arrested.
who did they arrest for that?

i think this should have gone to trial when i believe he never killed her. i think the person that killed her is still out there and now someone else will have to spend the rest of his life in prison bcus the system is so screwed up. there was no evidence except a few people who think they saw him in the complex where her body was found. this whole story is sad and now noone will ever know the truth...

well if thats true then i guess he got screwed, but i would think that with dna and all the good stuff out there that he was pretty much guilty.I dont know how the trail went but i find it hard to beileive they convicted him because someone saw him in the complex.I f that is the case i could have been his lawyer. Does ANYONE KNOW WHAT REALLY HAPPENED AT THE TRIAL? Please help because i think if he is guilty we should string him up in front of northrup. Send a message and save the state some money on his sorry pathetic being.

Funny you think like that! JOey is the one who came to the family and asked for a plea bargin. It would have gone to trial!! If it would have the family may have seen more justice!!! He received 17 Years for beating my sister and leaving her for dead in the truck of her car!!!! So much for love!!! He deserves far worse than he received!! Imagine the tables were turned. What would you want to happen to your family members killer???
