Well shucks. All we got to do is buy less stuff, what you can carry. This is supported by our banking system which has been working feverishly to diminish individual wealth and buying power of the wage earning bums. They will only be able to buy the day-old bread and limp celery half stalks with a green chicken gizzard with the money we are leaving them with. Up the rent, sez he, up the butt, sez he, up the foreclosure acceleration, up the charges on the bums and poor and wage earning slobs for every damn thing but DO NOT bother the rich for any share let alone fair share of public services or cost responsibility...STOP TAXING US at all and at the same moment raise taxes on the poor ...they are on the bottom so we can always find them. That is why we put & keep them there. Hire someone to carry your bagged escargot, charge them for the glovers you will want them to wear if they dare touch your goods. Charge 'em plenty and often.
This is awful things to say. The rich have promised us that if we let George cut their taxes and never send them to prison for ruining the finances of the whole country, why then they would let us have some things, any thing. Well, that is why we did it and now all we have to is wait. They will keep their promises, we let them keep their bonuses even when they bankrupted us to show our good faith. All we all have to do is wait for them to keep their promises. Wait for them to keep their promises. Wait. Wait for them to keep their promises, wait. Wait.

Bush and Cheney were great but what do they have to do with the price of plastic shopping bags in California?

This thread has gone way wacko. The main idea to me is that who in the government has the right to deprive us of the ability to choose to use free plastic shopping bags. The government these days wants to direct al of our activities. Next will be the outlawing of plastic diapers. Environmentally, that may make some sense but let's ask some Moms about it. Especially single working moms that struggle to have time to take care of their children.

Let's go back to a governmental relationship with the people exemplified by the statement, "officials are to be seen but not heard!"

Hey, rich people are great. They let us live here in this country. I think we should be a tad bit more grateful to our well heeled friends and appreciative of the opportunity to serve their needs, no matter how selfish or sadistic those needs may seem!

It's a win, win deal for everyone all the way around.

Gitmo detainees' looks like 'brutal' force-feeding of hunger strikers, but in reality this is OK under Islamic law for Muslim's.

If they want to end their lives, then so be it!

Look how much money the USA tax payers save in the long run, if the survive and are let go in some so called friendly country we will not have to worry about them planning a suicide attack against US personnel.

Hi, Y'all!
We are visiting here from bluegrass. I love it all. I will love iot even more when the true god is recognized as the one god and all the other gods have run off and hid and stopped bothering the one god with a lot of nonsensicaL ADMONITIONS AND REQUIREMENTS. God cant take care of you as hen is too busy dealing with the other old gods who are all suffering from a kind of senile dementia and ar drooling and whining and pee'ing in their robes and shorts. Now thwe way to fix this is for everybody to be armed and never vote for anybody again as that is gods work. Tax the poor as they got nothing to do with their money but hisde it, as the Senator saID.

Senate passes bill allowing states to tax online sales, this could have been for medical hemp too?

Either way this will cause some if not all to go underground. These business were helping out by not using "plastic bags" in their internet transactions.

Taxes on Californians were just raised by billions of dollars.

We're paying higher federal, state and local taxes this year.

And yet the Legislature continues to propose even more taxes, including a new $2 billion tax on oil.

Californians are already stretched to the limit.
