Yes. Jizzy is stalking me. And he also bullies me. Bill is worse. Bill says it's time for my "dirt nap". He posts a picture of a tombstone with my name on it. He often issues death threats and/or threats of violent homosexual mouth and/or anal rape.

P.S. I like those cards that talk or sing a song when you open them.

P.P.S. Slip some cash in there too!

P.P.S. Walgreens? Real classy. Like Tennessee.

As I said before, I read the article in its entirety. Barlow, Sakheim, and Beck's study looked at the impact of the anxiety produced from the threat of an electrical shock would have on the sexual responses of a small group of men. They theorize that some men had a sexual response to the possibility of receiving an electric shock.
Having had a penis all my life, I can tell you from personal experience that when I become anxious or frightened, the last thing that happens to my dork is for it to start getting erect.
Now this might not be the case for those few people who get excited by torture.
Now Barlow, Sakheim, and Beck's study did not look at erections as it relates to visual stimuli.
Adams, Wright, and Lohr's study DID look at this connection.
Every good study tries to provide a possible theory (or theories) for the results they encountered. It provides a leaping-off point for future research.
But their article still stands as proof that heterosexual men who self-report a strong distaste for homosexuality may have a tendency to become sexually aroused when presented with visual stimulation of homosexual acts.
Their work has not be disproven.
So you like everything about the study except the part where they say our results may be skewed?

Yeah, you are a pro.

Oh, and I would expect someone with a master's degree to use better English. "Their work has not be disproven." Really?

Try this- Their work has not been disproved.

Pick up a dictionary sometime.

Their data was not skewed by the findings of another group of researchers.

They suggested that there "may be" another explanation for their findings.

After I looked at the work of the other researchers I am of the opinion that a penile reaction due to fear of an electric shock is not the same as a penile reaction due to homoerotic films or pictures.

Why do you have such a problem with this? There are many public figures who have a history of vehemently speaking out against homosexuality, but were then found tapping their toes in public toilets, hiring gay escorts, or having beers at a gay bar.

How do we know you're not another one of "those"? How do we know that any of you regulars aren't some self-loathing, deeply closeted gay or bisexual man?

I think it's an appropriate question.

And finally, I stand by "disproven". It's not like I made up the word. Maybe you haven't heard of "Google". You try looking up the word there.

Very funny. I find it amusing when these haters with fragile egos get slapped down they start whining and name calling. Itís very telling about what they bring to this debate and life in general. Wait for it, I expect another tantrum will be coming soon.

Woops forgot one-

Reported! Name calling!

It's funny when a hater calls you a hater. And it's funny when a hater calls you a name caller. Also it's funny when a hater whines that you are a whining. And it's real funny when someone who wishes to deny marriage equality to marriages he doesn't approve of calls someone who doesn't a hater!

You are a hater.

I would imagine that in a few more posts, you'll be asking "Hey, any chance that any of you 'regulars' might be a closet case?" P-shah...

Well, I live in Knoxville to be closer to my family in Greeneville.

Knoxville doesn't have what I consider to be ideal weather--I hate the summer temperatures. And the winters aren't as cold and snowy as I remember when I was a kid. But autumn is still beautiful. I always missed autumn when I lived in San Francisco.

The political atmosphere in Knoxville is wonderful. The city, itself, is very liberal. We have a female, democrat, who is our mayor. Our city leaders recently voted to include an anti-LGBT discrimination policy for their employees.

And even though the small counties around us carried Mitt Romney during the last presidential race, the majority of Knoxville residents voted for Obama.

The LGBT magazine, "The Advocate", listed Knoxville as one of the top LGBT friendly cities in America last year.

And our Gay Pride Parade was the largest in the state last year. There were over 15,000 in attendance. We've outgrown our traditional site to celebrate Gay Pride and are moving it to a larger location this upcoming June.

So, it's not a bad place to live. I just have to deal with a few months of REALLY hot weather each year.
