Step number 1, stop letting everyone in through our southern border.

Yes, because this enemy is not personal. It just infects at random and is merciless. If we do not do enough to help contain it and eradicate it, we will think the Black Plague was childish compared to this misery.

Not sure which I would rather die from, a terrorist attack, or Ebola?

With Ebola, I will feel some sense of responsibility for either being careless and getting it or spreading it.

Plus, it sounds like a very long drawn-out painful death.

Anyone who tries to tend to me will be enduring a lot of unpleasantries too.

Great times we now get to live or die in.

Leave Ebola out of the US. Help with meds if we can but stay away from the disease to protect our own!

They have developed a cure for the dreadful disease, already. It's still in developement but it just saved the Doctor and the Missionary they flew back to the USA. Could they do more? Of course ! They could send $10 Trillion per year over there to feed everyone forever. Plunge us even farther into deficit land. Get real do more? They've already done it!

Many in Atlanta believe that the 2 Americans brought back here by the CDC to Emory were not gravely ill. The whole show was like the movie Outbreak with the two on "death's door" dressed in hazmat suits and magically "cured" of Eboli in less than 3 weeks. Once "cured" they were allowed to leave their quarantined confines and released in the public with no one knowing where they are.

Sorry but I am not buying anything the CDC is selling. The CDC has a bad record of mismanagement and mishandling of deadly and dangerous virus. A few years ago a herpes infected primate went missing from the Yerkes facility in a Gwinnett County. They have found decades old viruses that were just sitting in some government building. The have stored deadly viruses in ziplock baggies like you find on the shelves of Walmart. The CDC is a train wreck, and no one that lives around ATL that hears of all their problems on a weekly basis believes in or trusts them to do the right thing.

I am sure there is an outbreak of Ebola, but don't trust the CDC or WHO for that matter to give you the truth in numbers. From years of experience, they can NOT BE TRUSTED.

Agreed. Atlanta is a haven for illegal aliens. Every year we have a few schools in our area that are forced to close for a few days due to diseases like whooping cough brought here by unvaccinated illegals and exacerbated by the anti vaccine crowd. My kids have an extra hepatitis shot due to living around a large illegal population.

The US needs to protect and serve its citizens FIRST, then do what they can to help other countries and keep people in their own country. Immigrants that wish to be US citizens need to be educated, self supportive financially, pass an extensive background check and rigorous health screen before entering this country.

Our country is in grave danger of losing so much for being a doormat to the rest of the world.

Here is what the big powerful white people are thinking....A New Form of Eugenics? Bill Gates’(Microsoft) interest in inducing population reduction among black and other minority populations is not new unfortunately. As I document in my book, Seeds of Destruction,8 since the 1920’s the Rockefeller Foundation had funded the eugenics research in Germany through the Kaiser-Wilhelm Institutes in Berlin and Munich, including well into the Third Reich. They praised the forced sterilization of people by Hirtler Germany, and the Nazi ideas on race “purity.” It was John D. Rockefeller III, a life-long advocate of eugenics, who used his “tax free” foundation money to initiate the population reduction neo-Malthusian movement through his private Population Council in New York beginning in the 1950’s.

The idea of using vaccines to covertly reduce births in the Third World is also not new. Bill Gates’ good friend, David Rockefeller (Chase Bank) and his Rockefeller Foundation were involved as early as 1972 in a major project together with WHO and others to perfect another “new vaccine.”

The results of the WHO-Rockefeller project were put into mass application on human guinea pigs in the early 1990's. The WHO oversaw massive vaccination campaigns against tetanus in Nicaragua, Mexico and the Philippines. Comite Pro Vida de Mexico, a Roman Catholic lay organization, became suspicious of the motives behind the WHO program and decided to test numerous vials of the vaccine and found them to contain human Chorionic Gonadotrophin, or hCG. That was a curious component for a vaccine designed to protect people against lock-jaw arising from infection with rusty nail wounds or other contact with certain bacteria found in soil. The tetanus disease was indeed, also rather rare. It was also curious because hCG was a natural hormone needed to maintain a pregnancy. However, when combined with a tetanus toxoid carrier, it stimulated formation of antibodies against hCG, rendering a woman incapable of maintaining a pregnancy, a form of concealed abortion. Similar reports of vaccines laced with hCG hormones came from the Philippines and Nicaragua.9

Those population controls have not.worked. there is no shortage of Mexicans or central Americans. For that matter there is no population shortage anywhere on the African continent. If here in the USA if.we stopped all immigration and executed every invader coming over our southern border we still would have plenty of people.

From what ive heard once you are cured of ebola you become immue to it, so I think that the ones immune to it should be trained to tend to the ones sick with it.Then no more healthcare workers will be sick.I think that would rid the disease.

They are only immune from that particular strain of the virus, not Ebola in general. The current outbreak is a different strain than they've ever seen before. This strain is definitely the most deadly, and even with all the protections we obviously had two Americans that were thought to be well protected that still contracted the virus.

I think we need to shift our focus. As the saying goes, "The Nile is not just a river." From the west has come a terrible scourge on our city as now a second man in our wonderful city has this dreaded disease. We don't even know what the hell it is but apparently mosquitoes have flown from Africa to infect us. Everyone is up in arms about the Ebony virus but this Nile one is a real killer. I am calling on the governor to make a statement about this when he gets out of jail to clam the nerves of the local populace. The only ones happy about this are tavern owners who are doing record business as the local try to calm their fears with strong drink. We need to fight back against this before it is too late.
