If Vince Gill was gorgeous like say, Brad Pitt, in Legends of the Fall, I could maybe get how she would fall for him. He's just not that "pretty" or even that rugged like Brad had to be to play Tristan's role. I've always seen Gill as a bit of a sissy. Not that manly. I don't see what she sees.

She's partially blind and completely night blind.
Blind as a bat. And had detached retinas.
He's her Next Big Thing. She may care, but no one else does.

I think she is a hypocrite.....true christians don't break up homes and then talk about how the rest of us are supposed to follow God's commandments. What a load of bull. She needs to think about her actions and then see if she is being a "light unto others" before she sings another gospel song!

She's a hypocritical slut who left her husband and kids for a twinkie.

Don't you freaking chastise anyone for acknowledging the truth, MORON.

Her songs now are hollow and devoid of respect.

Live with it, and don't insult people who have sound judgment for insulting her character. If you say you speak or sing for the Almighty God, you damn well better live it.

Directed to me? Nice, I like to see compassion in action.

Like I said, I'm convinced there are no Christians in TX.

The Gill/Grant marriage is coming apart now. Just so ironic. The grass wasn't greener on the other side for Vince and Amy. It NEVER fails to amaze me, that two people start physically or emotionally cheating on the wife/husband of their youth, marry # 2 or 3 , and the new person fails to ask themselves. " if he/she did it to him/her, what's to prevent them from doing the same thing to me?"

It is? Gee, they always look so happy and in love. I had no idea there were problems. What's going on?

Now that Amy is fifty and has kids from two different husbands, I doubt she is going to be shopping around for a new gig. If nothing else, her Vinny man is loaded and can make her life very comfortable and cushy. Their house has been improved and now is worth 3-4 million and I'm sure she has hot and cold running vehicles at her disposal. Tripped out tour buses. A nanny, maid, assistant, stylists, personal trainer, so forth and so on. About the only thing she could do to get attention would be to give up her worldly world and enter a cloistered convent.

Guess they are in the throws of their Christmas tour. Been too busy to look for pics, etc.
Amy is 50 and Vince is pushing 60. I think their hormonal days are all but over. Only one kid left to raise.

I heard Corrina's sweet little voice on one of Amy's Christmas songs. I guess that was Corrina.

When is Sarah Palin going to invite Amy up to Alaska? She would be a much better choice!.

Well, you have a right to think what you will, but I hate calling someone a hypocrite, I could be one myself. But, I will however agree with you that her actions concerning being a true light to others fairs ok. I know, how can you preach truth and the gospel itself to others when you are not doing a good job at it yourself.

I am sure many thought the same with Gary & Amy as well.
I mean come on, Amy did have 3 kids with Gary, so something was ok in the marriage it seems. And the marriage was going into it's 17th year. Right now it is 12 years of marriage for Amy & Vince.
Vince and Amy have been apart a lot the last few years, when she was with Gary they toured together a lot!! Now Amy has been on tour with old friend Michael W. Smith, another space between her and Vince..hmm. Almost sounds as if Amy needs to get away from Vince. Does She???????? The last couple years don't sound as if they are going hunky dory for Amy, and you know the #1 priority is that Amy has to be happy. And if she isn't happy, you know it's ok for her to divorce Vince....lol. at that one.

I have never posted here before, but I think it's interesting what's been said about Amy & Vince's marriage. If she has gone back to MWS, I think that says something. Does that mean their marriage is on the rocks? Not necessarily. But it implies that things are probably not as rosy as they once were. Personally, I don't see how an adulterous second marriage can survive. We sow what we reap. If you dump your spouse and then marry someone else, it's very likely you'll eventually get dumped too. Not only that, Amy probably lives with a ton of guilty all the time. It would not surprise me if Amy and Vince don't last, because I don't believe God considers their relationship to be anything but an adulterous relationship. I wonder if she ever regrets leaving Gary?

Oh, one more thing. Some have blamed Vince Gill for the deterioration of Amy's music, but I think that's a bit unfair. To me, her music started to decline once she started watering down her lyrics and message in preparation for going "pop." Why did she decide to go "pop"? I suspect the biggest reason was money--and then fame. But the love of money and fame belongs to Mammon, and, as the Bible says, you cannot serve both God and Mammon. I think all the magic that was in Amy's music at the beginning of her career came from God, and once she decided to make Him a sideshow, it seems to me that most of that magic just kind of went away.

Vince Gill plays to two sides however. In an interview with Sting (who claims to be an agnostic) Gill said that he was like Sting because he has a hard time believing that there is only one way to God with all of the religions in the world. I was quite shocked to hear him say it. Maybe that is another reason the Christian music industry dropped Amy Grant like a hot rock when she married him. Their previous marriages failed yet now some people think they are super saints. I think Gill is simply a good business man who knows his audience and doesn't give a hoot about the gospel. It appears he plays the Christians for a fool.

Well Trisha, take a good look at yourself, you have just judged others yourself!! You have automatically assumed that those making comments are labeled "christians". YOU DON'T KNOW WHO OR WHAT THEY ARE!! See, pointing a finger at others, you forget that 3 are pointing right back at yourself, THINK ABOUT IT!!
