Horrible company. Unprofessional. Their only interest is to get your money. Plumbers are not skilled! DO NOT USE!

DISHONEST. These guys smashed into the cement column at the end of my driveway and broke it off. The owner originally agreed to reimburse me the $500 it cost to fix it. But he dragged it out and dragged it out. I called and called. After the statute of limitations ran, he refused to pay. VERY dishonest and unethical. The work had problems too.

These guys are not to be trusted. Fidelity Home Warranty (Fidelity is great) sent this company to my home to investigate blocked drain lines. These guys told me the blockage was not covered, charged me $250, but said the $250 would be applied if I gave them the job to do ($2500 to $3500) I gave them the job. They never contacted Fidelity to tell them what they found. It took two men approximately 16 man hours to do a job my GC who was at the house the entire time the work was done, said would have taken 2 men 4 hours at most to do. Lots of time texting on the phone so when one man is down both men are down. Worse is that had they contacted Fidelity they would have found that the work was covered based on what they found. Fidelity is reimbursing me the max allowed, $1,000. However, when I looked at both invoices, the day they found the so called blockage they charged $250 and never speak about the reimbursement. The next bill for $2,700 shows no mention of the $250. When I challenged it they said it was included, but at no time during any of our discussions did they say it was included. At no time did they say the total bill was $2950. Only $2700. But of course without them writing it down I have no legal recourse but I can tell others what they did and I fully intend to advise every single person I know, including all my peers in senior management in many, many companies. I will be sending out an email to all the people in my e-mail list and I encourage anyone else who has had a bad experience with this company to do the same. The only way to stop this type of abuse is to make the company know you mean business and they cannot continue to rip off people though sneaky tactics to the unsuspecting consumer. .These guys used just another trick to get more money. If they were reputable they would have documented everything from the rebate, to what they found and to show the actual reimbursement. Beware of this company, watch what they write and do not believe what they say until you check it yourself or better yet give another company a chance. This is a tough economy with all of us trying to watch our dollars, my suggestion is try another company first they do not deserve a second chance.

I have a home warranty and was referred by them to Intercity Plumbing. I have used them on numerous occassions as a result of this referral. It was brought to my attention that there is now a "surcharge" of 3% if you pay with credit/debit. I think this is an unfair business practice. I understand they get charged for the convenience of accepting debit, but electricity is also a conveinence...am I expected to pay for their light bill? Perhaps next is a telephone fee for them calling me to set up the appointment, or a fuel surchage to drive to my house? Those fees are all a cost of doing business, lord knows I already pay my fair share of expenses for my business...but I do not pass those fees on to my clients. They have lost my business...truly unfortunate.

I read these reviews when AHS said that they were assingning my work to Intercity. I waited with great apprehension after reading these reviews for their arrival and to judge their work. The phone conversations including the promised call prior to the arrival of the plumber were coutious and professional. The plumber was very proffesional and courtious and finshed the job in a timely manner. He also was informative about some future preventive measures. Maybe they have had some turnover and it nly takes one poor employee to create a problem but I definitely would reccommend them.
