Desert Hot Springs Police Want Tax Hike and to Close Youth Center or For City to Go Bankrupt

The city Police Officers Association wants to raise taxes and close youth center or for the city to go bankrupt. Police Officers are now working without a contract as a result of another blunder by the former city manager. The chief and a commander are gone with other officers leaving or preparing to leave. The County Sheriff is a less costly alternative and may provide better public safety.
