i'm just saying this may be the mothers only way of finding comfort in someone taking responsibility.
I mean where were the kids parents who threw that party? The are liable for thier sons actions even if they had no clue. Who leaves thier kid home alone anyway in high school, a few hours maybe but a few days come on!

This woman is so Distraught that sueing is probably the only way she can find comfort that the others responsible will pay. Like the lady that got probation for buy SEVEN CASE of BEER for a 17 yr old COME ON!!!!

Oh, and this mother has paid the ULTIMATE price. So don't disrespect

I can see her wanting to sue the woman who bought these "kids" 7 cases of beer. Her punishment was really a slap on the wrist ! I just dont understand the motive for being "sue happy". To keep her busy ? PLEASE ! Ya know what would be better then ANY amount of money ...? Fighting to save another young man or woman from making the same mistake. If she wants to stay busy and find peace-- get out there and talk to other teens about your sons death, Lady !! Save another Mother from feeling your pain and anguish ! She cannot change what has happened to her son....but she can fight like H E L L to save another persons life.
Ok....so, becoming an advocate for MADD and speaking at schools or suing everyone...???
I dont know.....her approach looks awfully greedy and self-absorbed to me. What do you think ?

She already collected over $100,000, now this low life bottom feeding scumbag wants more, if she isn't a leach, I wouldn't who would be one, except her pond scum lawyer. It has nothing to do with pain and suffering, it has to do with her wanting to sit back on her lazy b utt and not have to work
You posting ridiculous comments such as this, and your last post, makes you look like a 'low life scumbag.' I hope something like this never happens to your family, or one of your child's friends, because it's he11. If you don't know them, or their family, you really have no right at name calling and assuming you know every little bit about their lives. Stating your opinion is one thing, name calling on people you don't even know, is quite immature and straight out rude, don't you think?

You hope what never happens? That I do a bad job of raising my children, sorry they're fully grown and never made the bad choices that her son did. That I sue somebody, because I have terrible parenting skills, and couldn't tell my child is out illegally drinking, sorry but my children are now in their 30's and still don't drink, I guess she didn't set a very good example for her son. She has already collected all the money she legally can and still wants more, if that doesn't make her and her lawyer bottom feeding pond scum, there is no such thing and if you're a so called friend, you might not be much better..

Actually, I don't drink, or smoke, or do drugs for that matter; but thank you for assuming that :)

Thank you for assuming, that I was assuming, about you. But you're not important enough to be subject mater in this thread. I'm talking about the sue happy unfit former parent, that lost her child due to her lack of parenting skills and now thinks she should get rich over it.

I have to agree with some of these posts. I have known the mother before and after the tragedy. She is incredibly vindictive and bitter. She was not a friendly person before the tradegy and has become downright hateful towards people that she just picks at random to vent her rage towards. EVERYONE is judged by her on how often they still live this revenge filled journey with her. And, if you do not participate in this with her, you are severely punished by her and her followers!
She has also punished several individuals, as only Vicki Cummings can, by deciding that certain friends of hers did not cry or see her enough during her mourning. She is truly dispicable and has no time now for her other two children. I will continue to pray for her everyday.

Are you people crazy. What is it to you if this mom sues someone. You have no clue what it is like. I do. My son drove drinking and was killed and killed someone else. He was well of age to drink. He knew right from wrong, but he had a sick mind that over powered any right thoughts he ever had. But a bar tender had his keys that night, and he knew he had drank too much, and gave him the keys anyway. Now the last mistake made was my son getting into his car, but I keep seeing the keys exchange hands, who is at fault, one with a .207 ach. level or the clear headed bar tender. Don't think a mom just wants money, she wants change, she wants new laws, she wants people to know her son was not only the one who made a mistake that night, and most of all she wants him back. Good parents till have troubled children. Instead of condeming someone start praying and hope you are never in the situation to make such decesions. God help you if you do go through this. The night mare will never end. There will never be sleep again. God forgive you and me. grieving mom

Get a life, you dig up a thread that has been dead for 2 months. If she would have did even a half decent job of bringing up her kid, this would have never happened. It was all just Karma teaching her a well deserved lesson
