Depressed? Doesn't sound like he has anything to complain about...an affair is possible?

Maureen - I saw that too before they updated it. Damned mcall. Kind of an important fact for them to screw up!

wow - depression doesn't necessarily come from one's life circumstances. Don does had a wonderful family. I've been out of touch with them for many years but I know his family means the world to him.

Anyway - maybe its stress from work? Economic stuff? Just a plain old chemical imbalance?

The important thing is the Lynch's need every thought, prayer and bit of support they can possibly get at this time.

Don is my neighbor and I'm sure his family would not appreciate those of you negatively commenting. Thoughts and prayers are all that is needed right now. So those of you who have anything negative to say, PLEASE keep everything to yourself so his family doesn't have to read your ignorant comments.

Why would anyone who cares about this guy and believes the story be on Topix and not out helping the family search??

I typically disagree with those who say deceased people's family shouldn't be on here- the person's dead and the family can grieve how they see fit but a missing person? All energy should go toward finding that person/helping the family, not reading Topix. If you do come out here, don't be surprised at what you read or act indignant at what is the usual for these forums.

What kind of danger could he be in if his cell phone was recently pinged allegedly 16 hours after he left the Jim Thorpe location. Probably wasn't smart to post this information since now he can read it in the paper and ditch his phone or throw it in the back of a truck traveling across the country

It seems like the idiots are out in true form again poking fun at someone else's horrific nightmare. Report those that are truly offensive and ignore the others.

That being said, I have had the pleasure to meet both Don & Doris. They are wonderful people and deserve our help not our criticism at this difficult time. Our thoughts & prayers continue to go out to Doris and the girls. We continue to pray for Don's safe return. No family should ever have to endure this and our hearts bleed for what they are going through right now. Stay strong. Know that you are not alone in your prayers.

I totally agree with this. People are very ignorant to what is going on and just make everything a joke. Depression is a very hard thing to battle and can make a person commit suicide. So if anything people if you have nothing nice to say don't say anything at all.

I do not know this family and therefore will not make any assumptions. I am praying for the family as well as for his safe return to his sweet little girls.

What some of you people forget is that this is a BLOG. You will get some help, and you will get some jokes, and you will get pure nothingness. I am always amazed at how a public forum gets criticized for being what it is. If you do not like ignorant jokes and poor comments, THEN IGNORE THEM!
