Why did the Bush adminstration not pursue this and ligitimize it? This is already years ago and there are not the weapons identified in Syria to date. Maybe it is is true, but no one can say without the evidence, and there in lies the problem. There has never been any valid evidence. It does not make sense, if they could justify that they existed in Iraq, why can't they identify that they are in Syria?

Quote from source link:
"Saddam Hussein's No. 2 Air Force officer, Georges Sada, told the New York Sun Iraq's weapons of mass destruction were moved to Syria six weeks before the war started. Sada claimed two Iraqi Airways Boeing jets converted to cargo planes moved the weapons in a total of 56 flights. They attracted little attention, he said, because they were thought to be civilian flights providing relief from Iraq to Syria, which had suffered a flood after a dam collapse in 2002. "

I can't answer that. Bush did allot of things I didn't understand, like not defending our borders, not putting up enough fight up against Barney Frank, and Chris Dodd on the banking crisis. For bailing out Wall Street,(corporate welfare in my opinion). I will give Bush credit where credit is due, he did keep us safe for 7 years, and he did give us two US Supreme Court Justices that can read, and not intentionally misinterpret the Constitution, like so many do. I keep hoping Obama will surprise me, and prove me wrong, but as of yet he has not. He is, and will be, a liberal first. He seems to be hell bent on destroying what is left of our great country, and remaking into some form of a liberal fascist society. It would be nice to have a President that actually put the USA first for a change. Unfortunately we keep falling into the republican good, democrat bad, democrat good, republican bad, trap. Maybe someone with good character will run as an independent in 2012. In the meantime we should be trying to get the politicians that are in congress now, to wake up, and stand up to this guy, no matter what party they are in, or we might find ourselves being led so far into the wilderness of totalitarianism, we may never find our way out.

I can't agree Bush kept us safe, we did not get the terrorists who attacked us on 911, he created greater turmoil in the mideast and the world and greater hatred toward us. He put our nation into the largest debt ever, and with lack of regulations and oversight practically caused a total collapsed of the economy, putting us at other risks.

I don't think that not getting attacked by default means he was keeping us safe. Historically, do you give every president credit for keeping us safe whether there is evidence to clearly show what they did or did not do? What did he actually do to keep us safe, safe from the actuall terrorsits who actually came here and attacked us?

What do you mean "destroying what is left of our great country?" Are you saying it was almost detroyed before he took office? If so, do you think he should keep going on the same paths that were leading to that destruction?

I don't vote by party, and I don't judge by party lines. I find that Obama has opened up the discussions and perspectives to all, he seems far more open to having everyone at the table then any past presidents.

I think he is one the first to really be standing up for the average citizen instead of only the corporate CEO's and filthy rich.

Trust me, you ain't got nothin (especially between your ears). It is a common liberal tactic on these boards to ask the same questions over and over even though answers to the dumb questions have already been given, often more than once. Either you libs can't read or are just too lazy to scroll back and re-read the answers. But I'm not playing your stupid little game.

Bottom line is that the USA is the best country on the face of the Earth and in the history of the world and we have absolutely NOTHING to apologize for. We have made some mistakes but we always have the best interests of the world in mind. We go out of our way to help others, even our enemies, we go out of our way to not offend anyone, even our enemies, not matter what they do, including brutal beheadings of our own people. And then you wack-jobs want to complain about waterboarding? Give me a break. Like I have said, if you are embarassed and ashamed of the USA, please purchase a one-way ticket out of here, and take that nut-job obama and his America-hating wife with you. If you think Europe is better, then go there. This is the USA, not Europe. Our ancestors left Europe for a reason, remember??????? Have you morons ever studied history to see why and on what principles this nation was founded and what we have done to save the world's arse time and time again? And now your glorious brain-dead messiah in Washington is bowing down, both literally and figuratively, to every two-bit moron dictator on the planet? Morons that will turn on him and us the first chance they get? Are you really that dumb?????

You people are a bunch of DOLTS and do not deserve to be called Americans!

Hint... try reading what "news Skeptic" wrote, see you can disagree, but still use logic and sense to make your point instead of trying to convince or discuss something with childish insults.

Liberal: Allentown is doing fine, just spend more money.

Conservative: Hates what Allentown has become, and hates facilitating its enablers.(Paying taxes set by Democrats for Democrat purposes).

Democrats: sure your city is the pits, but look at all those good voters.

Republicans: you know, I keep getting blowback that makes my shoes wet.
