Volunteering at Morton Plant Mease Hospital - Lisa Johnson

Recently I had the opportunity to "volunteer" at the ER of the Morton Plant Mease hospital, located in Clearwater, Florida. What should have been a positive four hour experience, turned into something else that now involves my civil litigation attorney in Tampa and the probability of a professional licensure complaint against an abusive supervisory nurse.
I would recommend that the "risk mitigation" boys and girls at Morton Plant Mease not "lose" or "delete" some surveillance footage taken in their ER while I was volunteering there--it's going to be used in a professional licensure complaint. It's my understanding it's called "evidence of fact" in the legal world.
My experience at Morton Plant Mease was one of the most appalling experiences I've ever had--and it was in a "professional environment."
Let me get this straight Ms. Lisa Johnson, RN, Vice President of Patient Services, Morton Plant Mease Health Care-- Your supervisory nurses are allowed to be verbally abusive to volunteers who show-up to "help" you? They are allowed to do this in front of others? They shouldn't be doing that to ANYBODY.
Next, I was locked-in your ER and I couldn't get out without a security guard to open the door. If you ever lock me in any room, you'd better let me know that you are going to do it and give me the option of entering the room. I do not enter rooms where doors lock behind me. It's my RIGHT to be informed of that procedure.
Ms. Johnson, it is my understanding that you received your masterís degree in nursing from Drexel University in 2006. You have uniformed security guards hanging around your emergency room? Here's a link for you and maybe you can talk to Sandra Bloom, MD up there about the reasons Morton Plan Mease and the BayCare System should halt the practice, especially in an emergency department.
The other thing you can research is Peace4Tarpon--Tarpon Springs is getting it right, so perhaps Morton Plant Mease and the BayCare System can learn from them.
Oh! Since Morton Plant Mease and the BayCare System engages in censorship, the next time it's done, you'll find this information on my attorney's server.
My experience was limited at your hospital, but every rule in the manuals I have on the treatment of volunteers was violated. I do not allow anyone to treat me with anything less than professionalism and respect. Everyone has a right to be treated with dignity and respect--EVERYONE.
I was the only one who volunteered at your location, but other locations had numerous volunteers--I wonder why? It makes me wonder if they knew something that I didn't.
Next time use the inflatable dummies for your exercises, they won't react to inappropriate treatment like real humans will.
