Your article regarding retirement plans stated that "workers contribute nothing" to a defined benefit pension plan is just flat wrong. In my well over 30 years working for counties and cities in California, I can tell you that I contributed right along with my employer. All you did is just throw more red meat to those critics of our retirement system. Thanks. You could at least get your facts straight. It was but only three years ago that the private sector defined contribution pension plans were needling those of us as their salaries and 401k's were going vertical. Frankly, So, not so much fun with a defined contribution plan now!!! Get your facts straight. You know measure twice cut once.
