Interested in Relocating

I have been researching the West Coast of Florida for the best place to relocate. Palm Harbor seems to be very accommodating for all of my interests. I am looking for a more up-scale atmosphere. I am married and have a 6-year old daughter, so family and children's activities are very important to me along with a great school system. Through my researching, Palm Harbor seems to have a sufficient amount of work available also. My husband has a physical education degree; however has not utilized it. He has 20 years of experience as a chemical operator. I have experience in marketing and would be interested in working at a hotel or a resort. I enjoy the fine arts and fine dining. I enjoy a quiet community; however not too far from excitement. I enjoy having a downtown area with nice shops, boutiques, restaurants and nice entertainment. I really enjoy jazz music, so if Palm Harbor can provide all of that for me, I would love it! Living by the water has always been a dream of mine. I understand that the Palm Harbor area has not been too badly effected by the hurricanes. If anyone could confirm whether I am accurate in my findings, please let me know. I would love to pick up and move ASAP! We are in Illinois where the weather (most of the year) is not even worth talking about.

I am in IL too, Chicago suburb, and we are trying to buy a condo in Dunedin. Have you ever been to downtown Dunedin? Lovely! I have never been to Palm Harbor but maybe we should look there as well!

We are in New Lenox, IL. My father lives in Lakeland (approximately 1 hour from Palm Harbor. I have never personally seen Palm Harbor; however, I viewed the images on Google. It looks lovely! I am interested in my daughter having the opportunity to participate in outdoor activities everyday throughout the year within a safe and upscale environment.

Since my husband and I are looking to relocate, I thought I would get our work experience out in case someone would be in need of our services. My husband has a physical education degree with a background in distance running, track and cross country. Although he has never utilized his degree, he has been very active in the community high school monitoring times and setting up training schedules for some of the cross country runners. He currently has 20 years of experience as a chemical operator. I have several years of experience in marketing for commercial real estate developers and experience in medical and administrative recruiting. However, I would be interested in continuing my marketing career by working at a hotel or a resort. I am continuing my education at the community college to gain further knowledge of the hospitality management/event planning/travel & tourism industry. If there is anyone that could help us to achieve our goals, I would appreciate a response. Thank you!
