In the past I have provided numerous numbers of our Inequality within the USA . Numbers can lack visualizing the extent of what they represent Today I will seek to stimulate your visual apprehension of the problem with “The Price Of Inequality” in the USA.
"Here we can attack say a tree which we want to dispose of. Many attack the branches where in one attacks at the roots."
Similar to what we have here on this thread. Lets go to the root of the problem. Inequality of our labors productivity.
Price of Inequality is far more expensive to one and all. Inequality properly addressed that would benefit, yes even the lone hermit in the woods, to his majesty on the throne, if inequality were to be more justified in its distributions.
Now I will provide a video chart which may be more helpful in comprehending inequality as it is presently exist within the USA. We take care of that problem and the might of the USA would be undisputable through out the world and its Free Markets.
Yes even here in the USA, Austerity has taken its toll. Diminishing our strengths to compete effectively, on the Free Markets Of the World. http://neweconomy.net/content/wealth-inequali... video chart USA wealth Distributions..

Inequality numbers census.
Are you curious as to how much the Price For Inequality has cost you with the 2008 economic debacle? Right wing austerity for the 1% is your bill.
Find your category and figure it out. Enjoy your slide to …. Heh, heh I’ll leave that to your imaginations.
Inequality for the median and the impoverished has risen to favor the 1% with 40% gains in income. For the middle and below minus 6.1%.
Our median household income rose to $52,100 from its previous trough of $50,700 in 2011, remaining $2,400 lower with a 4.4% rate of inflation decline from its 2009 levels. Add the 1.8% Decline during the Great Recession and we get $3,400 below its December 2007 levels. That’s when the economic slump for the median and below began for them.
Largest decline went to the African American and Southerners who did not attend college.
Lower the income level the faster the rate of decline in earnings to Purchase Power as a percentage of real growth of the nations income. Gordon W. Green Jr. and John F. Coder of the Sentier Research that researches household income data stated and I quote; “Groups with low incomes tended to have steeper declines in income,” The preview of the official Census Bureau income statistics will be available in September of 2013. Sentier’s computations was based on the current population survey of 50,000 homes. Both of these sources have supported the conclusion of an increasing of inequality of economic dispersal. Going back years in its role of increasing inequality to favor the 1%.
President Obama at Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois recognizes the problem of the increasing inequality within our nation. Stating “Even though our businesses are creating new jobs and have broken record profits, nearly all the income gains of the past 10 years have continued to flow to the top 1 percent. The average C.E.O. has gotten a raise of nearly 40 percent since 2009. The average American earns less than he or she did in 1999.”
Recent graduates with associates or bachelors degrees were no protected from the on slaught of the ever increasing inequality in lost income earnings purchasing powers.
Homes with a High School education experienced a 9.3% decline with $39,300 earnings. Associate graduate homes lost 8.6% to $56,400 and the Bachelor degree homes lost 6.5% to $84,700.
People under the age of 25 fell 9.6% to income earnings to $31,300
Those 25 to 34 lost 4.5%.
Those 35 to 44 lost 5.7%
Those 45 to 54 lost 2.5%
Those 55 to 64 lost 7%
Southern States showed largest declines. Losing 6.2% for earnings to $47,900.
Western States lost 5.2% for earnings to $56,400
Northeast States lost 3.9% for earnings to $56,800.
By adding, the declined lost of earnings to purchase power, to the 1% gains of{40%} and you can estimate how much inequality your particular sector experienced, for just this one last Great Recession. Final tally of the increase to inequality will not be available until at least 2020.
Republicans have mathematically exposed themselves for over 80 years to be responsible for increasing inequality through various austerity polices that they support.

Here we are just a few years down the road from Libya. Obama asked for funds to beef up security to the foreign embassies. Tea Party and republicans dysfunctional leadership replied with a resounding NAY ! Embassy’s attacked and the first to accuse Obama? You got it, the same one’s that denied the funding for embassy security ! Now lives are being lost due directly to Tea Party negligence.
Presently they are seeking to prevent Obama from chastising the use of chemical war fare tactics. Once again Tea Party and some dysfunctional republicans are NAYING. When the next chemical attack occurs OH how they will laminate their wailings upon Obama for failing to do something. This Republican Tea strategy has been played over and over again like a broken record. Repeating and repeating stuck in a rut. At the cost of thousands of innocent lives to be martyred for their egotistical dysfunction leadership.
Home of the Brave ! HA ! This republican leadership has and is illuminating to the world that America is the land of the WIMPIES !

Typical right wing nut. Obama wants to contain chemical weapons from being used and you go off all hyped up about another war! Dysfunctional minds follow Dysfunctional leadership.

Over Seas Account of the 1% under attack by Obama.
Heard the latest? Observe how Obama actually attacks the source of our inequality. Our liberty to pursue happiness is eroded with ever increasing subsidizing corporations, increasing our inequality. Republicans evades, distorts their support for subsidizing corporations at the expense of our infrastructures , education, Jobs, Health Care, etc, etc.
President Obama is closing the inequality gap by holding the tax evaders accountable. Something the republicans have never in the history of our nation has ever done. Another first for Obama. He has been fighting this fight since 2009.
The US authorities’ biggest success so far came in 2009 when Switzerland’s largest bank, UBS, agreed to give away some 4,450 client names and paid a $780 million settlement after admitting to selling tax-evasion services to Americans.
In January Switzerland’s oldest private bank, Wegelin & Co, said it would close down for good after over 250 years, following its guilty plea to charges of helping prosperous Americans hide more than $1.2 billion from the Internal Revenue Service through secret accounts.
Approximately a hundred Swiss banks will now entertain an open door policy in allowing the USA to have the names of those U.S. citizens that have accounts. Examining each for possible tax evasion. Banks will face fines of up to 50% of the asset value, if they corporate.
This offer does not apply those banks already under investigation. Credit Suisse, HSBC Holdings Plc and Julius Baer Group Ltd to name the top largest banks. Several regional banks that under investigation will not receive this offer as well. The U.S. Department of Justice stated; “"The program is intended to enable every Swiss bank that is not already under criminal investigation to find a path to resolution,"
US Attorney General Eric Holder stated; “This program will significantly enhance the Justice Department's ongoing efforts to aggressively pursue those who attempt to evade the law by hiding their assets outside of the United States," Goes on to say; "In addition to strengthening our partnership with the Swiss government, the program's requirement that Swiss banks provide detailed account information will improve our ability to bring tax dollars back to the US Treasury from across the globe,"
Estimated total account value hidden in Swiss banks is $2.2 Trillion. Closing the Swiss offshore secret tax evader’s haven is a warning to all citizens that use foreign accounts, to evade taxes. They may soon find themselves in this scenario.
Those banks that do not cooperate may take heed to U.S. Attorney General; "significant risks for individuals and banks that continue to fail to cooperate, including for those Swiss banks that facilitated US tax evasion but fail to cooperate now, for all US taxpayers who think that they can continue to hide income and assets in offshore banks, and for those advisors and others who facilitated these crimes."
More than a dozen Swiss banks are under investigation, which includes mortgage backed securities sold by the banks. Credit Suisse has already agreed to a settlement of $120 Million stating the settlement does not imply guilt of selling of risky mortgage backed bonds.
Swiss government has been cooperating with the U.S. since May 2013.The Swiss Bankers association stated that the U.S. deal; "enables all banks in Switzerland to settle their US past quickly and conclusively and creates the necessary legal certainty." Swiss government ordered Julius Baer to hand over, the necessary data on U.S. clients.

[QUOTE BOTH PARTIES ARE EQUALLY CORRUPT![/QUOTE]

Your inability to distinguish between the two parties is obviously due to some mental handicap you harbor or Tea Intoxication.
Republicans are the worst stewardship in our nations 80 years history. Promoting Inequality through the Income Gap, as one example.
A mathematical investigation was produced by the statisticians Pedro Santa Clara and Rossen Valkanov that exposes the superior performance of the stock markets under democrats. That this is but one example of the democrat’s superiority, as there are more.
Their study encompasses 80 years. Study demonstrates systematically and positively surprised by democratic policies. Comparing the stewardship of the two parties. They calculated each economic indicator as an “annual average” during the democrats and republicans of their economic stewardship of their 40 years each. Turns out to be a landslide for democrats providing beneficial returns to the nation. One example; Democrat’s presided over a very respectable average annual compound return of 9.60% during their 40 years where in as republicans averaged a dismal 0.58%.
Consider this; a 401K plan invested in stocks and had a value of $100,000 at the beginning of the 40 years. Democrats would accumulate in compound interest $ 3,912,210 where in as republicans would only produce $126,027 . Another example; “IF” an employee were to invest $5,000 per year into their 401K for 40 years in a democratic stewardship the employee would have $1,985,526 in the bank. Where as the republican would produce a dismal $224,375.
That republicans advocate that they are good for businesses is false as compared to the democrats
Another interesting fact emerges within the statistical study. The income gap between the 99% and the top 1% has widened considerably under republicans. Averaging .49% as compared to the democrat’s .41% That is to say under republicans the income gap in 40 years, widened by 19.6% and narrowed 16.4%. Resulting in a 36% difference.
LOL on debt republicans increased debt by 2.5 times greater than that of the democrats. Republicans $7.1 Trillion vs. the democrats $2.8 Trillion.
GOP’s Self-Proclamation for economic dominance; in fact it is a misnomer to call the GOP a fiscal responsible party and or a smaller government, when in fact the contrary is true.
Obama’s administration indicates he sought the great leaders on these issue. Eccles and FDR, Clinton and O’Neill to do what is most productive for our nation.
Now pass on this one small example of the fallacies of the republican’s erroneous policies and deceptions..

Whistle-Blower Lawyers Throw Support Behind Obama
By ERIC LIPTON
Published: October 1, 2012

By ERIC LIPTON
Attorneys who represent whistle-blowers have made millions as the Obama administration cracks down on corporate fraud, and are now donating heavily to the president's re-election campaign.
WASHINGTON — As the Obama administration has cracked down on corporate fraud, lawyers representing whistle-blowers have reaped multimillion-dollar rewards. Now, as they seek to sustain these historic payouts, they are serving as generous donors to the president’s re-election campaign.
Bill Crandall fo The New York Times
John R. Philli A Legal Circle Reaches Deep to Aid Obama
ps, one of the nation’s top whistle-blower lawyers, has raised more than $200,000 for Mr. Obama’s re-election from colleagues.

Lawyers in the tight circle who specialize in filing fraud claims with the federal government on behalf of clients with evidence of wrongdoing have raised more than $3 million so far for President Obama. The administration, meanwhile, has paid out $1.6 billion to whistle-blowers during his tenure, with law firms taking a cut in some cases of up to 40 percent of the proceeds.
The lawyers have contributed directly to Mr. Obama’s campaign, served as “bundlers” who solicit contributions from others, donated to the Democratic National Committee and written large checks to Priorities USA, the “super PAC” supporting Mr. Obama’s re-election efforts. They have also donated heavily to Congressional Democrats.
Their support comes as Mitt Romney, the Republican presidential nominee, has called for repeal of the Dodd-Frank Act, which imposed new oversight of the financial services industry and expanded the government’s whistle-blower program to the Securities and Exchange Commission, which has set aside $430 million for payouts. Business groups have also pushed for legislation imposing a cap on payments to whistle-blowers, arguing that rewards reaching as high as $104 million, as happened in one case, have turned anti-fraud efforts into a lottery.
“The risks are enormous there will be real pullback because of pressure from the industry that has paid billions in penalties,” said John R. Phillips, one of the nation’s top whistle-blower lawyers, who has raised more than $200,000 for Mr. Obama’s re-election from colleagues, after first working in 2008 to help Mr. Obama get elected.
The fund-raising is already a flash point in Washington, where lawmakers have been divided along partisan lines over the administration’s efforts to regulate the financial industry and the political parties have long been at odds over trial lawyers and class-action suits. On the campaign trail, Mr. Romney has cast himself and fellow Republicans as champions of business and the president and Democrats as hostile to business interests.
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce, which represents many of the companies that have been targets of the whistle-blower investigations, has criticized the lawyers’ efforts, particularly their aggressive outreach for potential clients.

“If someone is defrauding the federal government or investors, they should have the book thrown at them,” said Matt Webb, senior vice president for legal reform policy at the U.S. Chamber Institute for Legal Reform.“But increasingly, this is not just about exposing wrongdoing. It is about trying to generate as much money and fees for the firms handling the cases.”
Some of the industry’s most important players, including lawyers from Mr. Phillips’s firm, played a central role in advising the Securities and Exchange Commission on the rules creating its whistle-blower program, including a provision to broaden the list of who was eligible to file a claim. In the last year, whistle-blower law firms have hired several top S.E.C. officials who helped write those rules. They include Jordan Thomas, who has started a new S.E.C. whistle-blower unit at Labaton Sucharow, a New York-based firm whose employees have contributed to the Obama campaign.
“We have had hundreds and hundreds of inquiries,” said Mr. Thomas, who has sought out clients and promoted his firm’s practice in speeches nationwide, an Internet blog and YouTube videos.“Our phones are ringing off the hook.”
The push to crack down on Medicare fraud, for example, started long before the Obama administration, with many cases initiated by the Justice Department under President George W. Bush. But the Obama administration has been particularly aggressive in pursuing them.
Since January 2009,$13.2 billion has been collected by the federal government from companies through the False Claims Act, the primary whistle-blower tool, with about $9.4 billion of that involving alleged health care fraud. The federal government has recovered more overall in financial penalties against drugmakers since 2009 than in the previous 18 years combined, with whistle-blowers credited for helping initiate about three quarters of the cases, according to a recent study by Public Citizen, a nonprofit group.
Among the biggest False Claims Act settlements was a $2 billion fine against GlaxoSmithKline, accused of illegally promoting one of its blockbuster drugs, which could translate into a more than $100 million bounty for the whistle-blowers, two of whom were represented by Mr. Phillips’s firm. In May, Abbott Laboratories agreed to pay an $800 million fine, which included an $84 million payment to the whistle-blowers, four former Abbott sales staff members, who tipped off authorities about illegal marketing of an anti-seizure drug to children and elderly patients. The lead whistle-blower was represented by Grant & Eisenhofer, a Delaware-based firm whose managing director has also served as bundler and contributor to Mr. Obama.
The S.E.C. whistle-blower program targets fraud that harms investors or consumers through a securities law violation, while the health care cases typically involve cheating the Medicare or Medicaid programs. No big fines have resulted yet from the S.E.C. program because cases typically take several years to develop. But the office is receiving on average 10 tips a day, and got nearly 3,000 in its first year.
Mr. Phillips and other lawyers said their contributions are unrelated to their work and he said they have sparred with the Justice Department during Mr. Obama’s tenure because of its efforts to minimize payouts to whistle-blowers. Corporate lawyers who defend companies, he added, typically make more money on a case than the whistle-blower attorney does.

Still, the ranks of lawyers seeking to represent whistle-blowers has grown quickly in the last several years, as the value of the awards has skyrocketed. Lawyers at dozens of these law firms nationwide have contributed to Mr. Obama, campaign finance records show, while only a sprinkling of checks have been written from employees at the same firms to Mr. Romney.
The single biggest fund-raiser is John Morgan, a Florida-based lawyer. He has collected more than $1.7 million for Mr. Obama’s re-election or for the Democratic National Committee, making him one of the campaign’s biggest bundlers nationwide. He has also raised money for Elizabeth Warren, the Massachusetts Democrat running for the United States Senate. Ms. Warren served as interim head of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, also created as part of the Dodd-Frank law.
Mr. Morgan, in an interview, said his support for Mr. Obama and Ms. Warren was entirely motivated by his admiration for their leadership in Washington. But his fund-raising blitz occurred just as he was expanding his personal injury and trial law practice into the whistle-blower field, with a television advertising campaign and new Web site, named whistle-blower-attorneys.com .
“America is full of crooks who are defrauding the government and investors every day,” Mr. Morgan said.“We are talking about billions of dollars in ill-gotten gains. We win one case and it will pay for our entire national advertising budget.”
Sean McKessy, a former corporate attorney who leads the new S.E.C. Whistleblower Office, said he welcomed the support of the outside lawyers. Whistle-blowers get paid only if the claim is substantiated and results in a fine of at least $1 million — meaning there is no incentive to flood the agency with frivolous complaints.
“There is an extraordinary important role that good lawyers that understand the regulatory process can play,” Mr. McKessy said, adding that individuals can also submit a tip without hiring a lawyer at all, although many do.
At a recent gathering of whistle-blower lawyers at a Washington hotel, several hundred of them sipped on glasses of wine and cocktails as they began a series of meetings with senior officials from the Justice Department, the S.E.C. and Medicare programs — as well as Mr. McKessy — to compare strategies on how to bring in more corporate wrongdoers.
“The way you get more hunting dogs showing up is you feed them,” said Patrick Burns, director of communications at a group that calls itself Taxpayers Against Fraud, the legal industry group that sponsored the conference.“And the Justice Department is cooking with Crisco right now.”
Well Dave that’s one example of how Obama goes about financing campaign funds. Note republicans never ever would try that. They prefer tobacco, alcohol and guns to support them. Did I forget republicans Koch and the Tea questionable super pacts?
Yeah we know what side of the fence you sit on.
